“Nice Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Great dinner here to celebrate buying our home in Ashland. Had the Rogue Cheese Piatto to start, and that was amazing!! We then had the chicken parmesan and the linguini with clams which were delicious, but lacked the quality and depth of the appetizer. The Roxy Ann Claret was a perfect wine with everything! Great staff and the service was very attentive.

“Nice setting, disappointing salad”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

I ordered the caesar salad with the optional "grilled 6 oz. steelhead fillet".

I have ordered versions of this salad up and down the West coast, and this was the worst salad I have ever had. The dressing was bland with hardly any cheese. The piece of steelhead was so hard on one end, a fork could not even pierce it. It was also "fishy", The server said it was "grilled" but it seemed as though it had been defrosted and then overcooked. The server apologized and the fish was subtracted off the bill. I am surprised the cook/chef would let a meal like that leave the kitchen.

“Great meal, comfortable atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

Yes, the Oregon pizza is amazing, the rustic salad very tasty and spumoni ice cream lovely. Enough for the 2 of us. Nice wine list. (Coffee had a bitter finish so not recommending.)
Attentive service and great food at a reasonable cost. The local folk know as very popular!

“Good food at their convenience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Decent wine list, nice variety of entrees, but this is not a place that will wait until you finish your soup to serve your meal. The slabbed salmon (can't remember the exact name - fish on a piece of wood) medium rare was fine, as was the lobster bisque.

“Reliably outstanding food quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Their Oregon pizza is sublime. Perfection. The sweet pears, combined with the tangy bleu cheese, and crunchy walnuts, on the crispy thin crust made for an extraordinary eating experience. Truly.

We also had some of the best eggplant parmesan that I've ever had. I sopped up the sauce with the pizza crust. Almost had to roll me out of the restaurant.

Service is great. Preston took great care of us.

Each year we visit Ashland, we make sure to have a meal here, and have never been disappointed.
