I'm a local and live within blocks of this restaurant so have an interest in seeing it succeed. The food was excellent -- and expensive -- but the service was shockingly bad. We made a reservation for four a week in advance and were seated in what is virtually a hallway outside the kitchen door -- seating being a problem in this small and noisy space. We were bounced around among at least three servers, none of whom had time for us. We waited more than 45 minutes for a brie-and-fig salad appetizer. It was very clear that other diners were more important than we, and we don't like to feel this way when paying $25 to $30 for entrees. I will choose less perfectly done food and warm, friendly service over this place next time. We hope it was just a bad night for the staff.
