“Great coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Great coffee without all of the over-marketed hype. The food is very good also. It tastes fresh and specially made. Nice people work their also. They were very helpful in telling us more about Ashland and what else to do.

“My favorite coffee house in Ashland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

This is off the beaten path - on E Main - parallel to Siskiyou. Wifi is available, while it is on "MAIN" street, it feels secluded.

It has neat outdoor seating areas. There you can sip coffee and watch Ashland go by.

THis is a neighborhood coffee place- no frills, no frou-frou names for a medium sized coffee. Order it the way you want it without having to memorize marketing hype. They even have real plain coffee!!!

Real people actually make the coffee for you - not Barista Mundos - third grade - or whatever.

The snacks are great too. Have a great light breakfast here with coffee, and one of their frittatas. Potato is my favorite. They actually use real cups unless you are in a hurry to leave.

I hear they have opened another location closer to the festival, but i like this one in the old railroad district - its less travelled than the downtown haunts.

When you ask for a sprinkle of chocolate on your coffee, you get actual chocolate - not cocoa powder.

Nice people serving good coffee and snacks- go enjoy a quiet moment off the beaten path.

“My neighborhood go-to place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

I love Rogue for coffee and the newspaper or a good visit, outside seating faces the sun all day, very important now that it has returned.
Coffee is great, cappuccino served in a real mug with a bit of cinnamon or chocolate is the perfect afternoon thing to do in my neighborhood.
Try the quiche too.

“Coffee, of course, but the food is lovely, too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2011

Just back from the Ashland Food and Wine Classic, and had to make comment about the vegetarian burrittos on offer at the RVR booth: I know things always seem to taste better when you're really hungry - and by the 4:30 on Saturday I was positively ravenous - but this is something I'd go back for time and again. Oftentimes vegetarians get kind of 'ripped off', in that offerings can sometimes feel like an afterthought ... a recipe that's simply had the meat left off. Not so with this tasty treat, and in a town famous for high meal prices, it was also a bargain. :-)

“Relaxed neighborhood coffee house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011

Nice off-downtown place to get a cup of joe ... quiet and neighborhood-y as opposed to the bustle and traffic of Starbucks, the Beanery or Mix. Internet access, very nice outdoor patio for three season alfresco sipping.

Really, really good Blueberry Bran Muffins, yummy coffee's, relaxed service. There are always plenty of morning papers on hand for you to browse through while waiting for your caffeine to kick in.
