My sister had been through Ashland the week before and recommended this restaurant. We asked locals for other recommendations as we did a mini-walk through the city. There are apparently 64 restaurants in the town. We decided to take my sisters recommendation and come to Standing Stone and we were very pleased. We had the seafood enchilladas and the korean bbq beef. Both were great value and had perfectly done sides (crisp vegetables and excellent black beans). The restaurant even has their own cattle ranch so the beef is grass fed and grass finished. The beer was light and lemony and perfect with the dinner. Wait staff was attentive but not pushy. We bought a Standing Stone t=shirt for a friend and the label says the shirt was from an Los Angeles place offering decent working conditions and fair wages for the textile workers. So you not only get a great value meal, but one built on sustainability of the food resources; the token t=shirts and the employees even get bikes. Highly recommended.
