Saw Animal Crackers and Seagull. Both excellent. Have taken the 5 hour journey to Ashland 5-6 times, never disappointed with OSF. Tickets are pricey, especially if you book last minute, ditto lodging.

“A must in Ashland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

We try to make it to one play every year as we drive south and north to Portland. We love the town and the great plays...

“Great Theater”

Attended 4 plays in 3 days. It was wonderful. Acting was superb. Well worth the 4 1/2 hour drive from Portland.

“A kidnapped local artistic success”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2012 via mobile

It is hard to describe how this once, long nurtured community success, has been kidnapped
by the new director and his friends. The prices for tickets have become exorbitant, the selection
of new plays is both disappointing and weak, and a vehicle for the personal concerns of the present director. This long respected Shakespeare company is
being used to advance the ambitions of the director. I can not stop this, but I can speak out.
My only hope is that others in the community will speak out, and stop this new, and unfortunate direction.

“If you love live theater --GO!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

We live 250 miles away and love OSF enough that we became OSF members.

What can I say -- it's well acted live theater, it's got great tech and design.

GO!

(We saw Chekhov's The Seagull and Animal Crackers (Marx Bros) this trip. We recommend you see them in that order.)
