This is the third time we are staying here. The rooms seem better than earlier with new furniture in the room. Mike at the front desk was professional and helpful. Its summer - needed the A/c which was ice cold so could not hear any noise at night. It is a quite place at night with restaurants and grocery stores across the street. The linen was spotless and the bathroom very clean. Breakfast was the usual and plenty of stuff. Highly recomended.

The Super 8 Hotel In Ashland is not the place for me. Front desk help was nice but that is all. As we walked in, the hallway smelled gross. The room was non smoking but smelled of smoke, the floor looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed. The window had a white stain covering half of it and it had no screen so bugs could come in. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly so water could only run for a short while before it filled up. Mirror and toilet seat were both chipped in several places. Beds sheets didn't fit right and middle blanket had cigarette burn hole in it. No thank you.

Everyone was fine (hotel was a little dumpy) until I got my visa bill. As it turns out, they screwed up and booked my room a day earlier and charged me a no show fee (full room rate) even thought I did stay at the hotel and checked in, saying I had a reservation without issue.

I called the owner Mukesh Patel serveral times, but he never bothered
to return my calls to resolve. The management obviously has twice the
money I booked for, so it would appear that he has no reason to call me back in an effort to resolve. I'd recommend staying elsewhere because of how they deal with customer complaints.

The rooms were clean. The front desk was helpful. Although not spectacular, the free continental breakfast was convenient - juice, coffee, tea, raisin toast, bagels, pastries. It was nice to have free wireless. The safe did not work in our room -- the front desk did offer to send someone to look at it later, but it wasn't that important to us. Would stay here again - it was a good value.
