“A Perfect Beach Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

My husband and I loved the Inn at Arch Cape on the northern Oregon Coast. We had an easy time making a reservation and were very happy with the King Studio, which was a dog-friendly room. The furnishings are charmingly cozy and comfortable. The bed was divine and we slept like babies. It was handy to have a full kitchen so we didn't have to go out for every meal. The Inn is located between two beach towns which are each about 7 miles away, so it was fun to plan little trips to try a new restaurant and check out the shops. There is a wonderful beach just a short walk down a quiet neighborhood road and our little dog had fun running in the sand. We travel to the Oregon Coast at least four times a year and this was the best spot yet!

Room Tip: This property does not have a pool or fitness center, but the beach is very close.

Dear Guest,
We consider it high praise that you enjoyed your stay at the Inn at Arch Cape out of all of the places you have stayed on the Oregon Coast. We are delighted that our Inn was a good fit for your dog, as well. We pride ourselves on being a clean, comfortable place for dog owners. (About half of our rooms are dog friendly.)
Many thanks for making the trip from Seattle. We look forward to welcoming you back again next time.
Sincerely,
--Tracy Hooper & staff

We felt very well taken care of at the Inn at Arch Cape.

Our room was welcoming, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and relaxing in front of the fire, listening to music.

The amenities were replenished and refreshed while we were out roaming around ....so nice!

The weather was fantastic, so we went on a couple hikes and walked the beach and explored. Such a beautiful part of the coast.

It was so nice returning from our adventures to a space that felt well cared for...from the linens to the gardens....
We really didn't want to leave!

I would definitely recommend the Inn at Arch Cape to my friends and family.

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the inn. The weather was terrible but with the fire at full bore, we were cozy. The knotty pine reminded us of northern Minnesota cabins on many of the lakes. The place was spotless and well stocked with firewood. It's a great place to reconnect with someone special.

Just a short review to say how both my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Arch Cape. The room was clean and very nice. Easy to receive the key through the lock box. The beach was beautiful with a very short walk. Overall very happy with this small owner business, even received a thank you from the owner for staying. Hard to find that anymore. One more reason to support small business owners in Oregon. We will be back to enjoy the quietness of the Oregon coast. Rory Weinstein

I will just get the negative right out of the way since it was the only one. We traveled from Seattle, and got into town about an hour and a half before check-in (3pm) Hung out in beautiful Manzanita for awhile and went to check in a little after 3. Our room was not ready and she said to give her 20 minutes. We came back about 30 minutes later after checking out the beach and she was still in the room...there was no way i was rushing her ( i dont want to stay in a dirty room) The room was finally ready at about 4pm. It wouldnt have been an issue had we not had two antsy dogs, it been raining really hard so i didnt want to go back down to the beach. So we sat in our car. Once we got into the room i was really excited. It was very clean, and so adorable. The fire right next to the bed is such a nice touch, however it was SOOOO windy that night we couldnt keep it lit with out the stupid fire alarm going off..Sorry neighbors. This inn is about 10 minutes away from any sort of town. So defiinetly a "secluded" kinda romantic feel. Very short walk to an absolutely beautiful beach. Manzanita is about 10 minutes away and was fabulous for dinner and coffee/breakfast the next day. We stayed in room 4, so it did have a full kitchen and like i mentioned it was pet-friendly. Be advised if you are a sensitive sleeper though, it is right off the Hwy and was very very loud. The bed was soooo comfortable. Nice size TV. Great stay, im sure we will be back at some point.

Room Tip: Room 4 was very very loud, but im not a light sleeper so i did ok.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your patience while waiting to check-in to your room. Sometimes, things don't work out as scheduled and we are pleased to hear that you found your room very clean and cozy. We appreciate your feedback about the fire alarm. We experienced unusually high wind gusts that weekend of 60-70 MPH so the smoke alarms did their jobs, altho' I'm sure it was annoying. I was glad to read that you had a great stay and will be back again. We look forward to welcoming you next time.

My husband and I had a very romantic Birthday celebration here. It's so sweet and charming. It's like having your own mini cabin. They are cozy, super clean and extra romantic with the wood burning fireplace. They are somewhat vintage with nice updates...rain shower and flat screen tv. They really care about your comfort and want your stay to be wonderful.
Tracy the owner went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure my husband had the best and in his words, "most memorable Birthday ever!" Thank you Tracy for making it our best beach vacation ever! We can't wait to go back. Its perfectly situated between Canyon Beach and Manzanita and yet the beach is very quiet. We went for a long walk and only saw one other couple. I can't say strongly enough how impressed we were, GO!!!! You'll be happy.

We had a great time. We went to the beach every day, brought all our own food (the kitchen was prefect!), and the staff was nice and helpful; when we had to check out late they were very accommodating and friendly.

The Arch Cape cottage was very quiet and secluded in January, we hardly saw anyone else around. Very nice shower, room, and kitchen; clearly new, but with an old-style feel.

We ordered a Honeymoon package with a cake and some cider, and it was waiting with a personal note when we got there. Very warm and inviting!

The closest grocery stores / conveniences were far away, so be aware of this, but if you're prepared, it should be great.
