A comfortable stay in what appears to be a fairly new hotel. It is a little east of the freeway, so you are not sitting on top of the traffic noise like you are in some of the other Albany hotels. We too found the room a little dark; a couple of more lamps would help a lot. The breakfast was fine. The hotel takes dogs, which is one of the reasons we chose this place. The Mexican restaurant near Fred Meyer's was good.

We were very pleased, very clean, nicely decorated, nice helpful staff, good breakfast selection. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

I walked into this hotel at 11pm without a reservation on July 4th weekend, saturday night because I could'nt find a room in Eugene (1 hour south). Excellent front office staff. 2 very nice ladies checked us in with smiles and encouraged us to visit the breakfast buffet the next morning. The room was large. There was a separate sitting area and 2 queen size beds. Everything was clean. The bathroom was in great condition with clean, comfortable towels and a clean shower curtain. No funny stains or smells, peeling wallpaper, worn carpet, thin sheets or other signs of a poorly maintained hotel. Just the opposite, it was very well maintained. On top of that, they had free wireless connectivity so I could check e-mail and surf the net from my own bed.

There was a standard size television and typical hotel furnishings. The beds were clean and comfortable although they aren't the super high quality beds that some hotels like Sheraton are moving toward. I would rate the beds as 'very good." I didn't have a chance to use the pool but it is indoors and looks clean. Probably not the type of pool where you'd spend an entire vacation day but nice for a quick dip.

The breakfast was fantastic. There were waffles, cereals, sausage, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon, biscuits, muffins, fruit, bagels, orange juice & pretty decent coffee. It is in a separate breakfast area with outdoor seating as well. The woman doing the cooking was so pleasant despite the hoards of people waiting for more eggs, bacon, sausage etc. I stacked two plates and there must have been twenty other people there at 9:30am. Everyone seemed satisfied and the food was actually good! Some hotels offer stale pastries and lifeless bagels to toast in a beat up toaster. This hotel was top notch.

Paid $63 + tax with a AAA card as a Saturday night walk in. With a breakfast that would easily cost $10.00 at Denny's or IHOP, I'm very pleased with the stay.

We stayed two nights here and enjoyed our stay. Rooms were large, but as posted before, a little dark, but nothing you can't live with. Staff was very helpful. Pool area very nice. I needed to do some laundry but the washer was broken. The breakfast was fabulous! It included Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereals, bagels, and english muffins! Was the best breakfast we had in our two week vacation. Location was great and the Linn County Fair was going on and we didn't hear a thing even though we were facing it. The only other possible problem besides the broken washer was the feather pillows, which I found out my daughter was allergic to. Overall it was a wonderful experience!
