After a long drive from San Antonio, TX we were looking for some place comfortable, safe, and easy to get to. We pulled up to the comfort inn at 11:00PM and were able to get a room for the night that was only $55!! It was a bargain! The room was spacious and clean. Beds were decent, bathroom was a little on the small size -but we were just passing through for the night and didn't plan to spend a great deal of time in the bathroom anyway.
The next morning we went down to the lobby for the free HOT breakfast. They served juices/coffees/milk, toast, bagels, waffles, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, muffins etc. We were very happy with the spread of food and the hotel rooms. It was a very satisfactory experience and would stay there again when passing through OK on I-35.

What a disappointment. We picked this hotel because it said "renovated rooms and free breakfast". Our room must have been left behind because it was awful. The room smelled musty and dirty. We wanted to open the windows to let some fresh air in but the windows did not open. We slept the night with the covers over our head to get away from the smell. There were 2 spiders taking up residency in the bathroom. The shower dripped all night. When I went to take a shower the shower curtain was all moldy and stuck together. Even the shower felt dirty. The side entrance had a trash can that was overflowing and a bucket for cigarette butts that was equally as appaling. We skipped the free breakfast the next morning as we could not wait to get out of the hotel. It is funny that when you walk into the hotel lobby it looks like a nice place. They had a nice warm fire in the fireplace and the TV was on and the lobby looked very new and comfy...the rest of the property was a completely different story.

I have to admit, when I was driving on I-35 this weekend, I was not wanting to stay in Ardmore, Oklahoma, but i could not drive anymore. So, i had an unexpected night in a room other than my own bedroom. I stopped in at a couple of motels and they were a little steep on their prices. I then went to the Comfort Inn and found them to be around the same prices as well. But what was different, was that the Comfort Inn was really worth it. I found myself getting helped by a courtious desk clerk whom was very happy to help me. He was very patient and didn't rush me at all. I explained to him what my day had been like and he actually listened to me. As a guest, it is nice to be heard and understood. The desk clerk then helped me to find a room of my liking, which would be what I was looking for. I got a good room at a good rate and got the chance to enjoy what my money went on. I will return to the Comfort Inn in Ardmore in the future, and i won't even try any other. I suggest that others try them out and find satisfaction in something good.

This place is a run down DUMP, to put it nicely! More like "Hillbilly Haven"! It is an older property, and has not been updated. The room was fairly clean, and that is about all I can say. Had we not prepaid, I would NOT have stayed there. The wallpaper in our room was peeling off the wall. The coffee maker was corroded. We were in a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. One of the doors down the hall had been kicked in previously. The outside door to the parking lot which was suppose to use a card key to access was broken and would not even close! The free breakfast was seriously lacking. There was no white or wheat bread to toast, no margarine, apple juice had run out, and the locals were visiting with the front desk help and having breakfast for free with their children in tow wreaking havoc in the dining area. The Hampton Inn property looked new, so I would stay there if I ever return to Ardmore again! Choice Hotel chain should be ashamed of this property! Enough said........
