This hotel is undergoing renovation and it really needs it. Although it was mentioned that they were nearing the completion of the project, I hope that was not correct. It needs a lot of painting and minor repair work. The rooms are okay, but I do not think they are worth $70+ per night. They have a hot breakfast, which is nice, and wireless Internet. It is close to I-35, so is convenient.

This was the worst night I have ever had in a hotel. The carpet was stained and nasty looking, stuff (?) oozed out of seams in the wallpaper, broken tiles in the shower. I was even uncomfortable in my own room as the carpet was sticky. Yuck!

In their defense, however, the front desk told me they are in the process of remodeling the hotel. I would given them a few months as the entire place needs to be gutted and put back together.

It does seem like management cuts corners a lot, however, as this remodel was a few years overdue. One example is that they cut every corner possible in breakfast. There was no cream for the coffee, only powdered creamer, and pancake syrup was generic.

After a long drive from San Antonio, TX we were looking for some place comfortable, safe, and easy to get to. We pulled up to the comfort inn at 11:00PM and were able to get a room for the night that was only $55!! It was a bargain! The room was spacious and clean. Beds were decent, bathroom was a little on the small size -but we were just passing through for the night and didn't plan to spend a great deal of time in the bathroom anyway.
The next morning we went down to the lobby for the free HOT breakfast. They served juices/coffees/milk, toast, bagels, waffles, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, muffins etc. We were very happy with the spread of food and the hotel rooms. It was a very satisfactory experience and would stay there again when passing through OK on I-35.

What a disappointment. We picked this hotel because it said "renovated rooms and free breakfast". Our room must have been left behind because it was awful. The room smelled musty and dirty. We wanted to open the windows to let some fresh air in but the windows did not open. We slept the night with the covers over our head to get away from the smell. There were 2 spiders taking up residency in the bathroom. The shower dripped all night. When I went to take a shower the shower curtain was all moldy and stuck together. Even the shower felt dirty. The side entrance had a trash can that was overflowing and a bucket for cigarette butts that was equally as appaling. We skipped the free breakfast the next morning as we could not wait to get out of the hotel. It is funny that when you walk into the hotel lobby it looks like a nice place. They had a nice warm fire in the fireplace and the TV was on and the lobby looked very new and comfy...the rest of the property was a completely different story.
