“A Place of Peace and Rest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2012

My husband and I were only able to stay one night at this little piece of heaven on earth, but it was worth every minute. Everything in our cottage was pristine and they had thought of everything...from hot chocolate to bubble bath. It is a very private place and no one bothers you. However, if you need anything, the main house has it all. The only thing I wish would have been different would be to have breakfast delivered to us instead of having to go to the mainhouse dining room. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone and hope to return there soon!!!!

My wife and I spent a weekend in Bambi's cottage in January 2012. A beautiful and spacious cabin, beautiful grounds (70 acres) with walking trails, a private hot tub, gracious hosts...but the best part for me was the food. David (one of the owners), is trained in culinary arts and it shows. The food was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's a perfect place to just relax but there are also several casinos nearby and one of the prettiest lakes in Oklahoma is only 15 or 20 minutes away (Lake Murray).

Room Tip: Cottages have a private hot tubs.

The last weekend in Oct. I spent the weekend with my two best friends at Shiloh Morning Inn, celebrating both of their birthdays. The owners were gracious enough to allow three people to stay in their Roadrunner Cottage and we will forever be thankful to them. From the moment we stepped out of our vehicle we felt a peacefulness. Everything is so beautiful and the cottage was so comfortable. We loved the hot tub on the screened in deck!!! Loved going to the main house for breakfast each morning. The food was fantastic! Thank you Shiloh Morning for a wonderful weekend! We're coming back in January and have our reservations already. I can hardly wait am so excited.

I spent my 60th birthday at Shiloh and it was awesome! The Inn keepers really make you feel at home. Our room ( Tranquility) was beautiful and immaculate, perfectly furnished with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade cookies provided are simply scrumptious. This is a beautiful property, off the beat and path. Great spot for a romantic getaway or a time for making lasting memories. Wish we could have stayed longer, lovely and spacious. Loved it..
Thanks Dave and Jessica!!

We arrived just after 5 p.m. on a Friday, and to say this place is off the beaten path is an understatement! We were THRILLED to see how truly quiet this place was; the surrounding property is beautiful, and we loved how peaceful we felt, especially coming from a big city. We were greeted by Dave, and after a brief tour, we settled into our room and planned our evening's events. We received easy directions into Ardmore, and found our restaurant with little to no problem. Talk about quaint and antiquated! We had a wonderful meal at Café Alley (a true gem in downtown historical Ardmore), and navigated back to Shiloh Inn very easily. The next morning was breakfast promptly at 8:30, and we were treated to a great three-course meal, starting off with a fresh-fruit smoothie, followed by a savory soufflé and potato side dish that was INCREDIBLE, while finishing with homemade banana-nut bread. Afterwards we took a stroll through the property, enjoying the quiet serenity and beautiful foliage as it begins to move from summer greens to the reds and ambers of fall. Our room (Suite Memories) provided just that – it was the perfect size and had everything we could have asked for…we loved the private patio and hot tub outside – it was perfect for relaxing late at night, gazing at the stars while enjoying a chilled glass of pinot or moscato. Our breakfast on the last morning was just as delicious as the first – we were treated to the Shiloh Morning Sunrise – a wonderful take on Eggs Benedict, Okie style (a warm, crispy croissant smothered in a chopped, scrambled egg w/sauce mixture, topped with tomatoes and chives). This dish was so scrumptious I don’t think I inhaled while eating! No matter what time of the day, coffee and tea is available in the dining room, along with a fresh batch of the most amazing cookies, EVER. This particular bed and breakfast is a hidden gem; we highly recommend this facility and look forward to our future visits!

Room Tip: It depends on what you are looking for, but we stayed in "Suite Memories" which is also th...

Everything about our stay was fantastic. The warm greeting, the fabulous food, the spacious room. We wish we could have stayed another day in order to take full advantage of everything that's offered, from DVDs, puzzles and games in the common area, walking trails. The only thing I would comment on that needed attention on our suite (Butterfly) is that the shower head probably needs to be changed. The water flow was quite weak and it made an uncomfortable whistling noise while the shower was being used. Also a ledge or shelf in the shower would have been nice... I had to put my shampoo and body wash on the floor. However, everything else was perfect so this is not a deal-breaker.

We decided to do a spur-of-the-moment romantic getaway on Thursday night, called the Shiloh Morning Inn on Friday morning and booked the last room available for a two night stay over 4th of July weekend. Best decision we've made this year!
My husband is a seasoned business traveler and very picky and precise about what he wants in terms of the standards of service at the hotels he visits - and he didn't have a single complaint over the time we were there. Our experience here was that every need had already been anticipated! Sometimes even the needs you didn't know you had (like my daily raids on their cookie jar).
When we first looked online, we were a little skeptical that the rooms could live up to the pictures on their website, but my first words upon entering Suite Memories was: "It looks just like the website!". And it really does. Our room was bright, beautiful and laden with country charm (but not the overly kitschy kind). The bathroom was nice and had a great big garden tub. The hot tub on our little private porch was fantastic, we used it both nights and loved every minute of it.
Every thing at this inn was geared toward a relaxing visit, the beautiful paths coursing through the property (where of course my hub found the pond for some early morning fishing), the terrific library with dozens upon dozens of current movie and book titles, the great room laden with games where we stayed up late working on a cityscape puzzle, it was all wonderful.
The true highlight of the stay though was the FOOD. Dave is a wonderful chef. Our breakfast was fantastic on both mornings and our dinner on Saturday night was also terrific. The owners were both smiling and friendly people. Warm and welcoming, easy available but without hovering around - leaving you free to comfortably roam around in the common areas.
I tried to find SOMETHING negative to balance out this review, but everything was genuinely perfect. We will definitely be back.
