I stayed a few days in the summer of 2003. This hotel is literally right off a major highway (Interstate 80); You can see and hear every car and truck that drives by. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
The building is attractive on the outside, with its Tudor-like style. They keep it simple and budget-minded. I liked the fact that there were interior corridors. That equals safety in my book. The lobby and rooms had very little beyond the basic furnishings and amenities. There is no pool and no elevator.
As a highway motel for travelers and truckers, this really is a great place. It has just the basics for a good nights rest. For families, it's acceptable, yet kids would definitely get bored hanging out on the property.
The room cleanliness was okay, (some crumbs were seen in hard-to-reach places), but overall the room was clean enough to feel comfortable in! The staff was super friendly, and the price was fair.
