“Small room, but nice a clean, very comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the price reasonable. Things were pleasantly quiet. Nothing fancy, but just what you would want in the middle of the night in a break in a long drive. The Mexican restaurant (and sports bar) just down the hill is pretty good too.

This property was recommended by a co-worker although there were several choices at this exit off of I-80. There was plenty of parking and several restaurant choices as well as fuel nearby. Room was comfortable with Large Flat-screen TV with many channel options. No fridge or microwave but kitchen facilities right off of the lobby. I was offered several discount options off of the basic room rate and was well satisfied with the room charges. I would recommend this property for a pleasant stay and good nights sleep...

this place was horrible from making reservations in which they screwed up because she couldn't understand English to the noisy phone ringing all night in the lobby that you could hear from the roomnot to mention the horrible attitude of the manager who claims to have been a manager for 14 years

This is definitely not a luxury hotel, and like Allan C pointed out, it may be missing some amenities. First, the good: the location is right off the highway, and makes for a very convenient stopping point if you're just passing through.

The rooms are remodeled nicely, and the bathroom has a pocket door, which is helpful if you're traveling alone and like to watch tv while you're getting down to business. Ahem, anyway. The shower has great water pressure, and is kind of cool/modern. Like a submarine.

My one gripe about the room was the tiny pillows. Who likes these?! I have come to the realization that the european style square pillows are here to stay, but these were the smallest square pillows I have ever seen. They were like decorative couch pillows. This drives me insane. One other thing was the bedding - it just seemed old and kind of thin. Most hotels offer a huge puffy comforter and an extra thick blanket in the closet, but Sleep Inn had a sheet, a thin blanket, and a paper thin comforter. I had the heat cranked the whole night.

One other thing if you're a light sleeper: the walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbor's tv all evening, and I'm fairly sure they could hear me Skyping, too.

So, overall, good value for what you pay, but don't stay here expecting luxury.

Also, breakfast area is tiny. That could be awful if there are a lot of people attempting to feed at once.

The sleep inn at AustinTown it is a relatively clean motel however there are a few things missing. If you wish to have a refrigerator and microwave room they require you to be staying no less than one week, otherwise you are left to ice in the trash can and using the microwave in the breakfast area which for most of us will always work. It is just a minor inconvenience. Being a professional driver I have an account which directed bills through a company that specializes in commercial billing rates. Using this account credit card at this motel I feel as though I am being treated for a lack of terms (a lower class) this may not be specifically true however actions speak louder than words. When I checked in was given a handicap rom on the second floor. Again I do not believe this was because they were nearly full but this was one of the rooms they are less likely to rent. The room had no where to lay your bag and they do not have the little folding baggage stands so your left with the floor. Also the breakfast is minimal continental but there is a Perkins restaurant right across the street. Overall not my favorite place but better than the alternatives in the area. I HAVE STAYED IN BETTER FOR LESS!!

We booked 2 rooms for one night. Lobby was small, hot & uncomfortable. Both rooms were old and musty. A/C did not work well in either room. One room had a loose toilet seat and the other room had a shower door that did not want to stay on its track. Breakfast room was also too small, dingy and warm. I would not use this hotel again and would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed for 4 nights in August 2013. Hotel was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Pack'n'play available for our toddler. Rooms were serviced in a timely fashion. Pool was clean with towels available. Breakfast was sufficient, although crowded. Plenty of parking, even for our shuttle bus. Close to food and shopping. Easy access to major routes.

Room Tip: had a noisy upstairs neighbor on 2nd floor. request 3rd floor if that would bother you.
