The room was great!!!!! Very very warm decor-topped off by a great breakfast and a super pool !!!!!!!
AND GUESS WHAT?? The Keycards worked everytime!!!!!!

My wife and I were very pleased with the quality; Clean facility and rooms, very nice furnishings and bathroom in the room, well heated and nice indoor pool within a well heated environment, and great lobby with breakfast area which was well stocked . The overall quality of our stay rivaled that of much more expensive hotels at which we've stayed. BRAVO!!!

We just stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Akron South and had a problem free stay. While only of average size our room was clean and was fully stocked with towels in the bathroom (a first for our family that needs 5 towels). It had a large desk, which we used as a table since there was no table in the room. The breakfast area in the lobby is nice - plenty of food options and includes hot items as well as cold items. The lobby also has free newspapers and a computer with internet service that is available for anyone to use. There is an indoor pool but I can not comment on its quality as we did not go in it. I think perhaps the best thing about this hotel is its location. Located right next door to the hotel is a McDonalds and a Wendys, which you simply have to walk across the parking lot to get to. Within a mile there is every fast food chain you could think of as well as several gas stations with convenience stores should you need any sort of supplies. It was easy to get on and off of Interstate 77. The front desk was always helpful and friendly and as I mentioned before we had absolutely no problems during our stay.

If you stay here hope nothing goes wrong. Our room wasn't cleaned and the motel staff told us to call housekeeping ourselves. They also accused us of leaving the "do not disturb" sign out and that was why the room was skipped. We filed a complaint with Corporate Hampton Inn and the Manager never responded to us or the Corporation. We even left a "post-it" on his office door. I could go on about other problems. Suffice it to say, stay somewhere else.
