We live an hour south of Akron and my son was scheduled to have a fairly invasive,outpatient surgery at Akron children's. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. They let us check in early so we could go to the zoo,gave my son a cookie on the way back in,let him run in the hall, asked about him upon checkout (they let us check out late),and bought him a stuffed animal and told us they hope he feels better soon. That,to me,is so wonderful. It's nice that people still care. They even gave us a small discount on the room rate. The staff alone is worth the stay!

Everything was top notch from check in to check out! The staff was friendly and helpful from front desk to housekeeping. Breakfast had different hot items everyday(all tasty). Bob Evans, Taco Bell and Mcdonalds all within walking distance. There is a Target across the street in case you forgot anything. My kids loved the pool. We will be back again when we visit Ohio: )

After staying at a dreary hotel across the street, I was happy to be staying in a fresh, clean and bright room. The front desk staff were both very friendly and willing to help. The hallway to the room was very clean, fresh smelling and inviting. Once I opened the door to the room, I was happy to see nice furniture, a flat screen tv and a very comfortable, clean bed. The decor of the room featured neutral, but warm and bright colors and had a very airy feel.

The shower had great water pressure, but the water was very soft (which wasn't a big deal). The sink bowl had a hairline crack in it, but the counter was spacious and appeared to be granite or some other high end surface.

I checked out the pool and gym. The gym looked well appointed and the pool has an adjacent shower, which they ask you to use before getting in the pool. The only gripe is that the water pressure in the poolside shower is nil. The pool itself was a nice size for playing or even swimming laps.

My experience at this hotel ranks it near the top for its price point. It delivers a great value and has the feel of a higher-end property.

My wife and I chose this hotel as a midpoint to Chicago and its short distance to both the Pro Football hall of fame and Cuyahoga Valley Natl. Park. Melissa who works the front desk was enthusiastically helpful with directions and appropriate hikes for our age.
On the second night of our stay, the manager, Ryan, gave a pizza party for the guests. His friendliness and high regard for his co-workers helps to make for a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely use this hotel again.
