TERRIBLE! NASTY...Do NOT waste your money you will be very disappointed. I can not say enough bad things about this hotel. Sheraton should take their name off the building.

The best part of staying at the Sheraton was the spacious, clean beach. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and it rained almost the entire time,so we headed for the indoor pool. There were two waterpouts spotted offshore on an adjoining beach and I was surprised that the hotel staff never came in to tell the guests. We only found out because a hotel guest came in and suggested we leave since there is a glass ceiling in the pool area. We went to the lobby, where the water was coming into the lobby area and bubbling up from drainage(?) pipes in the floor. The linens were attractive, but the general condition of the room was poor for a Sheraton, and overpriced for the quality. The people at the front desk, however, were exceptional. Local restaurants close early, so make sure you have a plan. The Sheraton offered to give us free hotel points, which we did not accept, but it was nice for them to offer.

When we arrived in the room there were stains on the comforter, we informed the front desk and we were told there were stains on all of the comforters. We woke up to the sound of hammering the first morning, the next morning it was drilling. There were ants in the pool area. The air conditioner/heater was so loud we just turned it off and suffered throught the cold nights. I would have went to another hotel if i hadn't planned my trip around this hotel. It was not worth the money and i would never consider staying here again even when they offered a free nights stay i declined. It was horrible. Stay somewhere else.

Stayed at the Sheraton, New Years Eve. The hotel was under repair from damage done during Hurricane Opehlia, however we were not informed of this when we booked our room directly with the hotel. None the less, the hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Our room may have recently been re-done as it was furnished great and the beds were very comfortable. We spent the evening at the bar/restaurant and the food was great. The bartender was even better! She helped us enjoy our stay. Front desk staff were very pleasant during checkin and checkout.
