You can make an all-day trip out of this one place. There's so much to see. Great thing this zoo is known for is large exhibits that allow the animals to move freely in a natural setting. Granted, that means you'll walk longer distances between each exhibit, but it's SO worth it. I try to go every year. Summer can be hot, so keep weather in mind when you go.
My only criticism would be that the restaurants/food kiosks there could use some better quality and more variety. So don't expect a fancy lunch.
