“Great atmosphere. Wonderful local bar.”

Food and service are exceptional! Try the angry okra. You wont be disappointed and you wont leave hungry. Daily specials are great as well.

“Relaxing meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012 via mobile

The pig is a great place to eat at and it reminds you that you can still go out to eat and have a conversation with friends without being rushed out the door. The food is great, especially the turkey corissant with sweet potatoe fries. The bar tender and owner Barry makes great drinks is a real genuine guy to know.

“The snail pig”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2012

This place gets an F for food service. Got to be the slowest place ever to get your food in the history of me and wife eating out, arrive at 12:30 and got served at 2pm, we started to walk out, took another additional 30 minutes until we got our bill, there were 11 of us at a table. We also were served one at a time, never brought the food out at once for all to eat and enjoy together. The waitress never apologize, one of our people went to the manager and complained, you would think they would have discounted our bills for such poor service. Needless to say they will get lots of bad reviews; of course we left no tip.

“Good value and good food; great atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012 via mobile

We wandered into The Flying Pig on a Sunday evening after a day at the NC Zoo. We have an active two year old and I always worry about we how we will be received when we go into a new restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel right at home. Our salsa was homemade, as was my son's corndog, and the pizza was great. We had a great time here and highly recommend The Flying Pig.
