“Nice holiday for my family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We got accommodation in room 1329 - I recomend it because of the seaview. Period of staying 27.09-04.10.2014 - not bad wather,
It was warm, 25-30 C degrees. The sea water was cold but we find a way to dive and swim around with fishes, so many fishes there were.
Friedly stuff, good food and service, animation team was great.
We will be back for next holiday with sure.

Room Tip: Choose a club rooms on second and third lines.

My family and I had been in Yasmin resort for one week .We had lots of fun.Every thing was so good.Room service, fitness center, pools&beaches water and areas ,Bars, super market and specially our club room's view.Unlike our room was on the hill but whenever you wanted go everywhere you could find shuttle.Room was clean, spacious with amazing view .Location was far from Bodrum and Turgutreis. But you can go to local market by shuttel bus services in hotel by paying a little money. The food was rarely good.Overall we had a great trip and we really enjoyed about it.

We had a week here the 18th-25th September 2014, the weather was beautiful and there were always more than enough sun loungers. Me and my partner mainly stayed around the chill pool area. The food was just okay - very 'same-y' after a few days and not always much choice for vegetarians. The salad bar was always our favourite lunch choice! We stayed up the hill in room 206, the view from the balcony was absolutely AMAZING. So worth the long walk! The golf buggies ignore you when you try and hitch a lift up or down. Some of the staff members could be quite rude as if we were disturbing them which was a bit annoying. No air con in the lobby was horrific! So hot nowhere to cool down it seemed except in room. Our room was perfectly fine, always clean and loved loved the stocked up free mini bar every day. One issue we had is that the staff members could always gain access with their swipe card whether we 'locked' the door or not. Didn't like that idea at night!
The MAIN issue we had which the hotel needs to address are the 'sales people'. Throughout the day we were constantly hassled to come to a Chinese restaurant or have a photoshoot, when very politely declining they would not take no for an answer and continued to hassle us. It got so annoying one day we went back to our room after lunch to sunbathe on our balcony! Can Yasmin Resort PLEASE sort this out as it isn't a relaxing environment at all. Even if you pretended to be asleep they would wake you up! We resorted to jumping in the pool for a swim whenever we spotted them.
Despite this issue, we loved the beautiful surroundings of the hotel and had a lovely time!
Was almost tempted to give it a three star because of these sales people but the good points outweigh the bad!

Room Tip: Up the hill was worth it for the quiet and stunning views!

Stayed here for 10 days in October. Booked through First Choice who neglected to advise us the hotel would be closing the very day after we left. This meant no beach bar, no beach club, no BBQ's, no evening entertainment and no activities during the day for our whole stay. The whole place was essentially winding down, the staff were clearly bored and spent a lot of time on their phones.

The food was very samey, the al la carte restaurants were closed for half of our stay, so like many other guests, we ended up taking a taxi into the local town for some decent hot food and some sort of atmosphere. When we did eat at the a la carte restaurants, the food was amazing, especially the Turkish meatballs and meze, superb.

We complained to the rep who said we should have known it was low season. This is not true as not mentioned in First Choice brochure or online. We subsequently complained to First Choice when we returned. Their response was that it was the hotelier's decision whether to limit facilities due to low occupancy! This seems completely unfair as we paid for a hotel with facilities which were clearly not provided.

Recommend the Thomas Boat trip, lots of laughs, good food and swimming in the sea. You can bargain them down so don't pay asking price like we first did.

I am sure that this hotel is amazing when it is busy and everything is up and running, just feel extremely let down by First Choice for their lack of information and refusing to accept responsibility.

Stayed in September 2014 with family and we had an amazing time!! Please don't be put off by some of the reviews, a holiday is what you make it and we loved it.

Rooms: Very spacious, cleaned daily, air-con was very good & the view was AMAZING.

Food: The food was okay, nothing too special and was pretty much the same every night but didn't bother us. They done different meats on the BBQ each night. There really wasn't much option for breakfast, I ended up having omelette every morning.

Pool & Beach: Very clean and plenty of sunbeds available no matter what time of day it was. We were at the beach most days!! Plenty of water sports to do - I think my sister & her boyfriend tried everything haha.

Entertainment: The animation team were really friendly and tried to get you involved (weren't too pushy at all) the evening shows were good too. Although, during the evenings some of the bar staff came across quite rude.. but may have been because of how busy it could get at that time.

Thomas Boat Trip: Amazing day trip!!!! You have to do this, we loved it so much we booked to go a few days later and we only stayed a week! You are provided with a free lunch (drinks not included) they give you your bill at the end of the day) You stop off at various points to jump into the sea - also stopped off at a little island to ride camels, great experience. The staff have you up dancing all day too :)

Overall we had a great stay and would love to return at some point in the future!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget - you are guaranteed to have a great time!!

I went three times to Yasmin Hotel Bodrum.

The hotel is situated in Turgutreis, only ten minutes from the centre of Bodrum.
You can take the bus in front of the hotel.
The hotel is close to the beach and has three swimming pools. There are also two free restaurants : a turkish and an italian. The food was delicious ! I recommend you to eat one evening in one of the restaurants.
It is a luxury hotel with a lot of rooms but the hotel is well-run, so you don't see the crowd.
The staff is friendly and proposes a lot of activities like water polo, basketball, aquagym, scuba diving or windsurfing. There is a lot of animation during the day and the night !
The accommodation is luxury. The view from the balcony is just spectacular !
You can sunbathing on the beach or choose to do some sightseeing and do some excursions.

I spent a week here with my boyfriend and we loved every moment of it! The staff were incredibly helpful and knew everyone staying there (at least they seemed to). They made you feel very welcome. We had a drink in our hand the whole time - they never left you with an empty glass. The rooms were cleaned daily, had air conditioning and a free mini bar that was refilled every day. The bathroom was in good condition, but the hair dryer was poor.

We traveled with First Choice and had very good reps. We got to see lots of Bodrum and surrounding areas, we event went across to Kos for the day.

The food wasn't brilliant but they had lots of choice and three additional restaurants for you to eat at, each once in your stay.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! For what we paid, we did not expect the service we got.
