i just want to say that my partner & I stayed here in June/July this year and we had a fantastic holiday. The Cemre is a lovely, clean, personal hotel with fantastic views and very friendly, hardworking staff, who work very hard to make your holiday an enjoyable one. The Turkish nights are brilliant and funny especially when the "special" guest appears. So a BIG THANK YOU to Sam, Joseph, Adam x 2, the chefs, the cleaning staff and all of the other members of staff for a great holiday, we are hoping to visit you again next year.

The staff at the Hotel Cemre make you so welcome and helpful; they don’t seem to be able to do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned daily and we had absolutely no complaints at all.

In fact we enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning again this year.

Cemre is good value for money. What do you expect for £8 per night? It isn't perfect but if you want the ritz then you have to pay for it! The staff were all friendly and helpful.Air-con was a bargain at £10 for the week, seen as it was between 45-50c every day. The beach was quiet and a perfect breeze rolled over the shoreline. The only problems, not really the fault of the hotel- a nationwide drought, were the salt water showers and the bathroom ponged- but when days are so hot it's bond to happen. Would definetly visit turgutreis again.

We have beeen going to Turgutreis most years since 1994 when my son was 3. He is now nearly 16 and we can honestly say we have never had a bad stay at the Cemre. The hotel is basic but clean and very friendly. The staff have obviously changed a lot over the years, but the same family own the hotel and they are always lovely and helpful. We have never had any worries about the children and the staff have always made them very welcome. There has been a lot of new hotels built, but they are big and very noisey and seem quite impersonal. The cleaning staff at the Cemre work so hard and are trustworthy and the bar/restaurant staff add fun and laughs to your holiday, their English being excellent.
I would say that if you want a reasonably priced holiday, the Cemre is perfect, the position of the hotel is good, being a 10 minute stroll into the main town which is always bustling with plenty of bars and eateries. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, the sea is only a few steps across a pedestrian path. I think some people expect too much, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Turgutreis.
