“The food was amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011

This Hotel is worth a stay. Everything about the Hotel was perfect. I must be honest it deserves 10 out of 10. The best part of the Hotel is definitely the catering. The food was out of this world and plenty of it. The hotel is a 4 star hotel, but it is not far off a 5 star. Exactly 8 mins by dolmich to Bodrum. The drinks at the bar are overpriced but what do you expect from a 4/5 star hotel. I hope it stays as a half board hotel because if it goes All Inclusive it may attract the wrong clientel. No drunken stereotypical Brits at the Hotel. ( YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? ) Relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Good mixture of Wester European guests.

Surrounded by nice green olive trees , nice wind and sun, this place was like a scene from troy on the adriatic.

Rooms were spacious enough and clean, staff were helpful and the hotel spa was a nice hygienic looking place to have your traditional turkish bath and massage.

Back in Istanbul i couldn't find a place appealing enough for a turkish bath , but in zeytinada it was ok.

The hotel was a good deal @ 60€ per night one of the best i could find.

As for the location, it is a bit far off the beach, but a 10 minutes walk would get you there, all beaches near are open for public, and they have a shuttle that would drive you to a nice beach and back

Highly recommend this for young and older couples alike.

I have a long experience staying at hotels from simple lodgings to 5 star deluxe hotels around the world. Zeytinada has a top class pool area and the dinner is ok. The staff are doing their best but the management is doing a poor job.

Ex 1: One morning a drunk guest was sleeping at a table in the breakfast area. Children and other guest felt embarrassed but the personal were not allowed to move him to his room. The Manager told us that the drunk person was a agent for a famous singer and we (less famous) had to cope.

Ex 2: Our room was not cleaned properly and stains were left during our whole stay.

Ex 3: English TV-channels did not work properly.

Ex 4: We had to carry our bags when we left up the stairs. Called the reception - no response.

Ex 5: Very expensive minibar (5 star prices)

Ex 6: No WIFI in the room

To conclude. This is a hotel with management problems. I would never stay their again. But if a great pool area can compensate for a rude manager, spartan rooms and expensive minibar this could be the place for you.

this is a fantastic hotel!! nice clean and quiet!! we had originally booked a hotel in gumbet but after reading some bad reviews on all the construction with water pipes that was on going last year we changed to torba and boy were we glad!!!!! service at the hotel was fantastic, i could not fault it, the food was good salads rice dishes stews grilled meat BBQ breads (puddings were not to standard but i find this in a lot of places, a bit allucaneat style cakes and puddings) etc and varied most nights with plenty to choose from. the dining area you could either sit in the restaurant inside which was always quiet or outside by the pool which was just stunning especially at night. the whole hotel was immaculate, pools gardens rooms terraces etc with some fantastic views on the sun terrace which was always quiet too, sometimes we would go up there and take our dinner and a bottle of vino and relax on the massive comfy sofas, but do take mozzie repellent!!!! drinks are very expensive, we would use the shop opposite which was cheap and drink on our balconies or go down to the little shingle beaches which was so peaceful and the water is so clear. torba is very quiet but has enough shops bars and restaurant to keep us happy. bodrum is only a short 5min journey away and the buses are frequent and only cost around £1 each way. bodrum was great for a day visit enough to see great marina and shopping, neighbouring places i found to be tacky and messy, massive buildings, english breakfast signs everywhere, you get the picture!! we went on a few excursions and day trips. book them in bodrum town for best prices, highly recommend a boat trip, the water park was fun and going to see the sea turtles which was a lengthy journey on the way back so beware as they take you a long route to try and make u spend more money at a gold shop!! its also an early excursion, so for those who miss breakfast make sure u eat before you get on coach and take drinks, u get to stop at a side dinner that was unbelievably ridiculously expensive!!!!

there is a huge village style hotel that over runs and dominates most of torba which we didn't mind as it was beautiful and in villa style with nice gardens good restaurants and their facilities were impressive which we would use daily like their pools and sun loungers which were like beds!!! also the little man who own the corner shop was great, didn't understand English but had exactly what u needed and was really cheap and prices stayed the same which is rare!!

all in all we loved torba and the hotel but sadly we felt like everywhere we went somebody wanted to make money out of us!! it was constant everywhere we went we got hassled by locals to buy things, even the security guy at the hotel asking for cigarettes and beer at the beach...unbelievable!!! day to day prices get changed in shops a bottle of water would cost a lira, next day same shop it was 5lira!!! beer in bars the same, we paid 20 pounds for two beers once because they wipe the menus and change prices!!! beware of this!!!

the only bad thing i can say about the hotel is you feel like your being watched by the staff as they are so attentive , music is quite repetitive but okay same cd each day.

enjoy!!!

The hotel is located near Bodrum. It's easy to reach with public transport( dolmus stops on the hotel 10min). accros the street is a supermarket.
It's not a typical Turkisch Hotel, It's not one big building, but a lot of small buildings. The area is nice green, with a lot of trees.
The hotel is good for people who like a calm holiday, because the animation is only 2 days/week. The food is really good.
The hotel is not really good for disable peoples, because there are a lot of stairs.
The rooms are clean and big. Good value for a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is set on the hillside above Torba beach and is a beautifully laid out complex of buildings around a swimming pool and old olive trees. It really is idyllic and a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Bodrum. This is not a large hotel and so you never feel in a crowd when relaxing around the pool etc.
We stayed in a standard room and this was perfectly acceptable and pleasant accommodation. There are larger rooms and suites available and we were a little surprised that given the low occupancy at the time of season we booked no upgrade was offered.
The staff are really lovely and very attentive and welcoming. Food is buffet style and a good range of well cooked and presented fare. The only criticisms are that it would be nice to have fresh fruit juices and yoghurts included in the breakfast buffet offering.
This hotel is definitely recommended and we would consider returning.

Stayed here with a walking group in April and had a faboulous time. Where better to return after a days walking to enjoy a swim in the peaceful swimming pool (no screaming kids!). The en-suite Rooms were spacious with a large bedroom and a seperate lounge area to relax in after a busy day or alternatively it was nice to enjoy a cool beer on the balcony overlooking the pool. Meals were buffet style which is not normally my personal preference but there was an excellent selection of tasty hot meals which varied each evening. The slow cooked lamb was to die for! Combined with the friendly helpful staff this is an excellent location to spend a holiday.
