“Good food, good location and great staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Rooms are very basic but clean the maid comes round every day with fresh towels and bedding. The food is lovely but the breakfast isn't great, we went out for a full English most mornings to "Bobby's bar" excellent place to go and staff are very welcoming. Bar staff at the hotel could be more pleasant, when your standing there for a drink they will finish what they are doing before serving you, even though they know you are there waiting!!! Restaurant staff are all lovely and food in the evenings were great, plenty of choice too. Animation team were very good, chat to everybody and make you feel very welcome. Not much to do in the evenings at the hotel so best going down along the front to some bars, good atmosphere and music. Recommend going on the boat trip, amazing day out and food wasn't to bad!! and for a night out the animation team organise a bus to pick you up and take you into Gumbet, great night out and plenty of bars to go to and you get the bus back to the hotel aswell. Overall great holiday and definitely be going back.

right take note of this ,I read all trip advisor comments before i book and like a bargain this was £400 ish ,I booked low cost holidays and was not told it was a economy room this like other comments say is a stinky basement room facing a wall I complained and was told there were no others available,I was then told £30 upgrade is possible,Now theres a surprise!! 1-0 to turkey. .I did not unpack and was moved to a better room next day.yippee.now to get my £30 back. read the following. One night of entertainment (Turkish belly dancer) One game of water polo. Shower head in bathroom hanging off. Floor was not cleaned all week. Some of bar staff did not acknowledge to you when you went to get a drink at the bar he carried on washing glasses.Food was not to bad ,edible.Cider (saido) the animation guy is fun and made us laugh every day,but does sod all. There was also lots of polish, no problem with them,

Room Tip: Don't settle for the basement ,we paid for the upgrade but I don't think that's always t...

When we first arrived we were put in 'the dungeon' as it is referred, our room was very basic along with 2 singles beds (when we booked a double room). We went straight to receptio and asked to move and with a bit of persuasion we were moved to the ground floor with a double bed! We only had 1 change of fresh towels during the week and sometimes our room wasn't cleaned till gone six (when we were getting ready to go out) bed sheets didn't look like they were changed and the floor had never seen a broom let alone a mop!

The food was actually pretty good, lots of fresh salads along with kebab meats rice pasta chips, breakfast was pretty basic but there was always bread and jam if all else failed. We found a restaurant along the beach next to the beach bar which cooked a full English for 8tl which is about £3! The snack bar always cooked burgers and chips along with a cheesy bread and meat inside until about 4pm.

Most of the staff were pretty friendly, some didn't even acknowledge you when you were gettig your food / drinks. The animations team were fab! Cider and his brother were very nice, we booked a boat trip through them (for £20 all inclusive) instead of the rep as some friends we met out there booked a trip and it was a 4 hour journey to get to there destination, 2 hours there then 4 hours back! Also they booked to go diving and there coach never turned up! Waste of money!

Always plenty of sunbeds around (be advised to buy a LILO to lay on as there not very comfy!!) at night time there was nothin to do, I think as we went out of season it wasn't very busy most people over 50 and as a young couple we found we were quite board. We met a lovley couple out there and spent most of our time at the beach bar where ali would put the footy on and make us yummy cocktails!! Would recommend Vera's for a meal out as well, £30 for a starter 2 mains and drinks, was beautiful!!

All in all we had a nice time, made the most of what we could the weather was beautiful!!

After reading the reviews we requested a room above ground level......On arrival we were checked in with the gormless girl at reception and then taken down to the dungeon in the basement of the hotel. I think most people were put here and has the nick name 'the holding cell'......As soon as we were going downstairs I knew exactly what was happening. We were put in a very small room next to the landry room. I walked straight back up to reception to change rooms which I was told tomorrow. But tomorrow never came, it was late afternoon on our 3rd day and after asking everyday to be moved to a better room was told by Miss Gormless 'oh I forgot' ! After finally losing it we were moved to a larger room on the 2nd floor. We then unpacked and started to feel like we were on holiday. The rooms were visited daily by the maid & fresh towels were left, but the bed linen wasn't fresh daily ( Not a problem) and the floors hadn't seen a mop for god knows how long! Your feet were filthy if you walked around bare footed in your room. The best thing about this hotel is the pool, with plenty of sun loungers. However, the plastic cups given to drink from around the pool area are absolutely disgusting! These are also used in the restaurant for soft drinks! YUK!! Food was pretty basic. We ate egg on toast every morning & bread & jam as this was the safest option. We didn't eat once in the restaurant at lunch time for the 10 days we were there & ate out on a few evenings. Most of the staff were very freindly but a few not so much. And the management seemed the worst! Ali who runs the restuarant on the beach is just lovely! You must give him a visit. The Animation team Saido (Cider) & his brother, Saido is the main man who is very friendly & chatty with his brother only interested in the young girls who are arriving.....Haha!! Other than that we made the holiday as best as we could and met and made some lovely friends who we spent all our evenings with and have stayed in contact with. Guzel Restaurant is definitely worth a visit on Yashi beach!

We are a group of 11 french people and we stayed at the Medisun from the 22nd of August til the 1st of september. We had a great time over there, the hotel is very nice, the swimming pool is beautiful and clean. Although I had a great stay over there I'll leave a review as honest as possible so that you are sure to get what you expect.

Rooms are big and clean. To be honest among our 6 rooms, one was not perfect but it was located just next to the swimming pool technical room which was noisy and a bit smelly but we asked reception for changing and it was done within a few days. Our rooms were dispatched in different parts and different floors of the hotel and all of them were great. Then you should not be scared by some people review saying that the rooms are horrible since even the worst room is not that bad.

The food is good but remember this is an all inclusive board so do not expect too much. During our stay we had grilled fish, grilled meat, kebab, pasta, potatoes, rice, vegetables ... it was very varied. We loved the snack bar close to the pool where the great Atom was preparing delicious burgers and cheese pita. Drinks at the bar are served 24/24 and all the staff there is great. The staff at the restaurant is great, especially Servet (not sure about the spelling!) who alsways tried to get us a big table for the 11 of us!
BUT I have to say that the restaurant's director was very weird and rude in the way he talked to us. He made us feel uncomfortable anytime we had to talk to him and especially girls ....We know for talking about that with other people staying at the hotel that we are not the only ones to think this way so I think he should definitely change his behavior.

We spend the most of our time at the pool but the beach is very nice. Ali was very helpful and always trying to speak french with us. We had dinner at his restaurant at the beach and it was great, this is definitely something to do at least once (even though it is not included in the all inc)

And the last but not the least ...the ANIMATION TEAM was WONDERFUL! We spent great time with them! During the day they always organised some activities and they took us great places to go out at night. The night at the HALIKARNAS was amazing! We mostly owe them our amazing holidays and we thank them a lot for that!!

To sum up, the hotel is great and very comfortable and even though it is not a palace the people over there makes of your stay a 5 star holidays!
