Went to this restaurant after it was recommended by an English lady whose husband is Turkish.
As we entered the waiter showed us the types of fish, starters and mezes en route to our table.
The table was on a beach and surroundings were lovely. As we sat down, my partner and I joked at the fact that we hadn't seen the menu or prices for what we ordered. As we had dined at 360 Istanbul and at La Pasion in Bodrum, we thought the maximum we would be paying would be no more than what we paid at these restaurants, approx. 150TL
We had a few mezes, 4 prawns, a drink each and a whole seabass to share.
When we got the bill we were astounded. It came to 315TL=£110!!
We didn't ask the price prior to ordering because we trusted the restaurant not to overcharge us. Having dined in restaurants such as Nobu(London) and Buddakan(New York) we thought the food at this restaurant was no better than average and was way overpriced.
We checked with our hotel that night whether they thought the bill seemed correct and even they said that it was excessive. They rang the restaurant to check the pricing and clearly we had been overcharged as we were foreigners.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you enjoy being overcharged! You have been warned!
Try La Pasion in Bodrum. Fantastic Tapas, great ambiance and about half the price.
