“Ok for a day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

I stayed at room 603, 2nd floor, no elevator. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was neat. The breakfast was ok, but you have to pay for water. The staff is friendly. There was construction in front of the hotel, noisy and makes the walk to the beach uncomfortable. 5 minutes walk to the beach.

We stayed at the Sofabed Hotel for 5 nights, and had a great time. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff was very helpful and very friendly, especially the front office supervisor Emel. The breakfast was also wonderful and also the menu for dinner was also great. The swimming pool was also clean with lots of sunbeds. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everybody.

I stayed for 7 nights, and had a wonderful time. The room was lovely and spacious. I was the only English person staying at the hotel but was made to feel very welcome. All the staff team are extreamly helpful, and the service was excellent.
I found the breakfast ample, but can understand people wanting a variation once in a while. I ate in the evening twice during my stay, there was a good choice on the menu and was no dearer than eating elsewhere.
The swimming pool is lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds and cushions, and the bar just a step away.Only a short walk to the beach and a wide range of places to eat.
The Sofabed is a lovely quiet place to stay but central for going further afield, with the dolmusses stopping a stone throw away to take you to Bodrum.
Yes there are some dogs, but they are real softies and caused no problems, the parrot at reception will keep you amused...........please do not let these put you off from staying at this little gem of a hotel

This hotel is of a very good standard. It is typical Turkish. The breakfast consists of eggs, bread , cheese and fruit. The rooms are 5 star. Walk in shower massive. Pool area spotless.
Loads of sunbeds. No need to put towels out. At the time of the stay there were only two other English guys staying there. The rest were French. There is no entertainment appart from the bar staff who again were fantastic. The hotel is five minutes walk from the centre. There are three beaches within a thirty minutes walk. Camel beach is the best and furthest away. There is a beach to the left of the little river that runs by the hotel. We will be visiting this hotel again. There is only one word of warning the owner likes dogs. There are three on premises. They are very nice but if you dont like dogs beware.

Room Tip: budget rooms are belowground floor. They do have a table and chairs outside so you can smoke if you...

This is in the outskirts of bodrum. It is a very relaxing resort. It is a quick dolmus ride in bodrum. The hotel is ideal for couples without children. Its room and shower facilities were really clean and the bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was average Turkish breakfast. The hotel is very close to the beach.
Tips: go to portofino beach it's amazing and the best place to swim. It also has a restaurant that makes traditional Turkish food that was delicious and so cheap but they do other foods like burgers etc.
