Stayed in parkim ayaz from 22nd june for 1 week, a group of 7 girls aged 18-21.

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, although fairly small. we didnt spend much time in them. The only problem was the aircon that didnt work too well, we reported it and its was fixed?? although not much colder!

The dining hall was busy, and well staffed, with a large choice of dishes.

Pool was fab...we loved the bar and cozzy beach! played music all day. Aqua gym is really good fun usually starts at 11am. Turkish Bath in the hotel is excellent we paid 25ytl each, well worth it.

We usually started our nights in cozzy beach for cocktails and entertainment, (the male belly dancer was an eye opener....anyone who has seen him will know what we mean!!) we had an eighteenth birthday whilst we were there and asked them to organise a table for us with banners, for our dinner. They organised it and a fab cake. Our nights usually ended in Shamrocks our fave! we enjoyed all of the bars especially Shakers, Outback, X and Central bar oh and Mr Frogs Karaoke. (never seen as much choice!)

dont tell the watersports firm opposite the dining hall that youre a professional on the Ringy/Donut things... they take you seriously!!

the little shop under the aloha bar opposite reception sells really cheap water, so stock up!

Beware! the airport (incl duty free) is an absolute rip off, and definitely try to get a seat as soon as you can!

i would like people to read this as while looking into my holiday i looked alot on trip adviser and not everyone liked the hotel in my opinion i think they stayed somewhere else! there was four of us there myself and my boyfriend and another couple aged 21.

firstly peoples opinions on the rooms - granted they are quite small but clean and tidy bathroom again small but cleaned daily and no cracked tile in sight! fresh towels were given everyday and beds always made. Balcony again small but we got four of us around it! Also there was a security box in the room which was activated by a pin code not a key so something you dont have to carry around with you! plenty of wardrobe space too and an aircon you can activate yourself with a self timer too. Tv included with a stop on the sound so will only go so high great for those people who can hear next doors tele full blast usually! Also fridge included with mini bar which you will be charged for, we put our drinks etc in it but remember to remove every morning as they will remove it and you have to wait till the end of your trip to get back.

staff - didnt really interact with them but when we arrived they took our bags to our rooms explained everything always opened doors when came and always seemed friendly.

next the pool - plenty of sun lounges or the beach metres away also very comfy cushions to laze on. pool fairly big with a slide and stools in the pool next to poolside bar. We were told drinks would be quite expensive there but in all fairness not by much. Make sure you get up and put towel out before the rush as some people put towels out at night!

the food - this was something many people complained about 'the same every night' granted some nights there was chips or rice but expected other than that a main dish different every night with starters etc also really lovely salad bar. only thing would advise is drink local ones imported alot extra my boyfriend drank efes basically a turkish version of fosters!

day trips - we went on a boat trip and to be fair was pretty poorly organised but once your there fantastic day jumping into the sea is like hitting ice but so refreshing after the heat of the sun all day. if your not one for real heat turkey no for you very hot! Also went to the aqua park if your up for bit of fun definatley go slides for everyone although i didnt go on the vertical drop but was told it was exciting! although if go have to buy food in there we made sanwiches waste of time cant take anything in!

night time - best bar to go to is called the no name bar (literally) turn left from hotel on right not far up. bar man were hilarious made our holiday non watered down drinks and they get you very drunk! also there is the main strip not far up but this is where you get the turks trying to get you to dance all time and buy watered down drinks - still good fun got to go at least once1 best place we found there was called club tropicana cant miss it got a big yellow car at entrance! also the frog right at top is a kareoke bar!

shopping - never ever pay full price haggle all the way its so much fun, bought perfume (real too) 2 bottles one being gucci for about £28 bargin! clothes real bargin too! if one shop wont haggle just go to next one! we would hide our money and say this is all we have if say no start walking away they ll come back they cant miss business! also if your buying cigerettes its little cheaper in airport malboro £16 for 200.

the turks - this i feel most strongly about people wrote they were hassled and pulled back and were touched up which really worried me but it is all wrong never saw that at all! they were friendly had a banter with you but that was it if you said no then no it was just walk away there all good people.

I hope this has counteracted some of the bad press hotel has recived i loved my holiday there and have nothing bad to say about it.

Well we were dısapppoınted on the arrıval at the front of the receptıon. The front does not look lıke a hotel!! The actıvıtıes were okay for 3 teenagers. The clımbıng wall was an excellent challenge for them all and the young lad who manages the wall ıs very good and helpful too.

There are many wıld dogs wanderıng the grounds but they are all nıce and frıendly. These are maınly looked after by the government and some are tagged.

The musıc at the hotel ıs good for us youngsters!!!

The maın pool - please put your towels out by 830am or you wıll not get a lounger!!!

We had a large room wıth a sıngle bed and a kıng sıze also a sofa bed. All rooms have aır condıtıonıng of whıch comes ın handy. On our last day we asked to keep on our room before departure. That was okay but had to move to a smaller room! The room was small!! If you were a large couple there wouldnt be much room to turn around!! It has a kıngsıze bed wıth small tv and unıt!! All rooms have balconıes. No lıfts just staırs!!!!!

As thıs hotel ıs half board you expect decent meals! Well please bear ın ınd that ıt ıs only a 3star hotel and basıcally the food ıs at that standard or maybe alıttle below!!! The food ıs absolutely CRAP!! They dont do mash potato ıts SMASH!!! Who does smash these days apart from the parkım!! The salad counter ıs the best but ıd also gıve the desserts a mıss to!

A fab restaurant ıs the red dragon - excellent staff and food and ıs always the only one packed!!

The surroundıng shops - well ıf you lıke beıng hassled and abused then take a venture!! 99% of them are terrıble. I told one resteranteur to shut up as he shouted out to us for breakfast lunch and the rest of the speal they throw at you and he changed to beıng lıke a wıld dog ın a cage havıng a rıght go at me and tellıng me to get out of country ıf ı dont lıke ıt etc etc - twat! He ıs ın restaurant just before burger kıng!! Yes theres a burger kıng and ıs okay but they dont understand englısh - we walked out a couple of tımes as they were duplıcatıng our order or addıng thıngs on we dıdnt ask for so we gave up!! Alot of the shops wıll do good deals but check out all prıces as some are 50% cheaper than others.

The Dreamgırls are excellent - we all went and had a good evenıng. But the chıcken and chıps meal was - CRAP!! Sorry but we were all served a chıcken leg - yuk and about 6 chunky chıps!!

We booked our excursıons wıth vıctorıa and toby from excen travel opposıte to the left of the parkım - very good and ınsured.

Please watch the traffıc as they dont gıve way to you and wıll run you over ıf ın the way of them. Also they drıve very close to the kerb - thıs ıs notıced as I have my sons - otherwıse ıts not somethıng youd keep an eye out for.

The nıght lıfe looks fab and the polıce are always out to protect.

The sun - ıts soooo hot the temperature was over 40 whılst we were there. Cant waıt to get home for the raın!!!

The turkısh lıra - basıcally ıt was easıer to say a 10ytl ıs worth roughly 4englısh pounds
.

Any questıons please ask. Have fun ıf your goıng but we wont be returnıng we prefer Hurghada ın Egypt.

We stayed at the Parkim Ayaz for 2 weeks from 16th June and had an absolutely wonderful time.
We arrived during the night and woke up to an amazing view over the pool, Cozzy beach bar, and the sea the following morning.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the towels changed on a daily basis.
Staff are fantastic and really cant do enough for you.
We drank at the Cozzy beach the whole of the first week to watch the entertainment - and of course the football - What an atmosphere when Turkey were playing!!
Had no complaints about the food. There was always plenty of variety, and something new to try.
The hotel is placed in an ideal position between the bars & restauants and the sea front, which gives the best of both worlds.
We will def be back !
