hotel la rosa, we stayed in one of the villas it had 3 larged sized bedrooms the villa was very spacious and the kitchen was kitted with every thing we needed the patio area was absolutley nice with apricot trees and grape vines all round and all shaded which was nice when it was sooo hot! in the day by the pool.
the staff was very nice and the cleaners were very very nice they stripped the beds every other day aswell as changing the towels. They swept the floors and mopped the floors every day. very clean the villa was but as for being such a nice hotel the centre of gumbet where the beach was a good 15 minutes away and it is quite hilly coming back.
the supermarket and the sunday market was only 2 minutes away. The only down side was the prices of drinks at the poolside bar. but apart from this we all really enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel is really nice, the pool is great and the staff are friendly. The downfalls to this hotel the room we stayed in was extremely small the cleaner didn't do much cleaning plus we didn't get a pool view or balcony as it was advertised in the brochure. The bar was overpriced and I didn't like the idea of paying your bar bill the next day. Also if your looking for a hotel close to the beach and main resort I wouldn't recommend here it's a good 15 mins walk and the Hotel is near the top of a Hill.

We left the Hotel La Rosa less than 24 hours ago. I had booked up last minute going allocated on arrival, and was very pleasantly surprised when we first entered this hotel.
The La Rosa itself is a lovely, small hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with plenty of free sun loungers/bean bags for all the guests. There are also several gazebos and other seating areas spread around so if you want to you can get out of the sun. As it is a small hotel, there wasn't too much noise during the day, so it was very relaxing. I had two teenage daughters with me and they thought it was brilliant, and didn't get bored once over the two weeks. Every member of staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
Entertainment is in the form of karaoke every nite until midnight, but the bar stays open as long as you want it to, friday nights they lay on a Turkish night, with a troupe of artistes perfoming and a barbecue, for the cost of £10.
Rooms are a decent size, and very clean, sheets and towels were changed 5 times during our stay, and rooms cleaned every day.
Although not in the centre of Gumbet, it is only a 15 minute stroll down the hill to the centre of the nightlife. Built fairly close to a residential area, which is a bonus, as there are numerous nice Turkish resturaunts close at hand, that tend to be cheaper than those in the main area. Also only a 2 minute walk to the local market held every sunday.
Pay the extra for the air con. It enables you to shut the doors at night and keep out the noise of the bar!!

I have just returned from a two week break at Hotel La Rosa. I had a fantastic time, the hotel staff were brilliant very attentive to all your requirements from the manager down to the the cleaners. The hotel was spotless and the pool area was well maintained. I cannot stress how much I enjoyed my stay.

Well done La Rosa Keep up the work and I hope to return very soon!!

Hotel La Rosa was a very friendly hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The only downside was the size of the rooms, you certainly couldn't swing a cat in them however they were clean and comfortable. The location was terrible, in the middle of a very run down residential area. However it was preferable to staying in Gumbet itself, which is a decaying dump in need of some serious investment from tourist money. I am a grandmother of 3 in my mid forties and was travelling with my husband and even I wasn't safe from the unwanted attenition from the local men. Unfortuantely it was my first and last trip to Turkey - never again!!
