Would not recommend this hotel unless you hanker after butlins in the sun. Entertainment was poor and staff hassled you to attend, pointing out they got paid bonuses on numbers. Not good customer service! Air conditioned restaurant so well hidden we never found it in 2 weeks. Last time I saw breakasts like this it was on a school trip about 40yrs ago. Only reason we can see for this to be classified a hotel and not a b and b was that the rooms didnt have kettles. Definately notwhat is advertised or worth the money. Only plus was that we hadnt gone half board as comments from other guests were that the food was dreadful.

Arrived expecting two Restaurants as stated by Thompson Travel Breakfast was in an upstairs landing space where you collected very poor variety breakfast and took it up steps to an open-air Sun Deck complete with local flies That was Restaurant one
The second Restaurant was a long counter in the Residents Bar and took your Meal out to the tables pool site complete with local flies and Cat \The meal was no choice one Meat or other and20 dishes of assorted salads and sauces The Desert every meal Water Melon Grapes with seeds and small 2inch square of pleasant cake
The bedroom very small Balcony 4ft by 5ft looking into the next door Hotels bedrooms 20/25 ft away the Balcony had 2 plastic stools no table
Staff were very poor in English with the exception of Reception I was amazed at prices for everything we kept room to accommodate my disablement and was charged 10 euros per hour first time I have been robbed for being disabled if you ignore this take your own pillow as the Hotel appear to have acquired surplus ex brewery pads for dropping the kegs of side of Wagon
we will never be at this Hotel again.
dropped medicine label on the floor was still there three days later.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Serpina, we stayed half board and the food was absolutely brilliant every night with different choices to choose from. Ali chef is a fantastic cook and we're missing his food already. Breakfast was standard turkish breakfast but still was very enjoyable, was changed up every couple days with extras such as pancakes, scrambled eggs etc.
The hotel was clean and welcoming, the pool area was very relaxing, even if you wanted to lay in, there was no noise from pool area. The staff were ALL so lovely and welcoming and really make you feel at home. We had a problem with our air-con and staff saw to this quickly, and fixed it. I would recommend you pay extra for air-con as rooms do get very hot.
Turkish night at the hotel is not a night to miss, entertainment was great, and once again the food and service was amazing.
Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is close to everything but far away enough for you not to hear the noise from bar street.
We would DEFINITELY return to the Serpina, and were missing it already.
Sharon, Jeffrey & Naomi / Babe, Charisma & Sexy Pepsi :) (Ali Chef will understand) room 202!!

I have recently returned from a weeks stay at the Serpina. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for their guests. I liked the way they came around the pool during the day asking what drinks everyone wanted. After a few days they remembered mine and my husbands name as well as our room number which was a nice touch. Hotel very clean and lots of sunbeds available. Lunches were also very nice and quick and easy when enjoying the sun by the pool. Would recommend to family and friends.

Thank you once again

Have just sadly returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend for a nice quiet get away. The staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Pool area was so clean and really well kept. Rooms let the experience down a little as there were a few small things that could have been done to make them nicer and safer(socket hanging out of wall) but overall was clean and all you need is there. Had breakfast a few mornings but as it was basic decided to just buy food from hotel bar which was of great standard and was more of what a British person would eat in my own opinion. Highly recommended the Turkish night as the food is great and entertainment very enjoyable. Ali Boss really made us feel welcome and was a lovely small hotel. Would definitely return.

We returned from 2 weeks at the Hotel Serpina yesterday and already want to go back.I was sceptical about the very positive reviews but now can also recommend the hotel.
The staff were enthusiastic very smart and well turned out and helpful at all times at the bar and mealtimes Iloo, Engin,Songull and Eren and Chef Ali. The food was great and fresh with 2 choices at evening meal. Breakfast I thought was fine with cereals, egg in shell, cheese, fresh fruit, bread tea and coffee and juice. A cooked item was different each day pancakes, omelette, scrambled egg and tomato with cheese on top. This is only served up until 9.30 and we missed it frequently, get up if you want it ! Some of our teenagers in the party thought that there was not enough variety, Chef Ali would make anything they wanted pizza, chips etc, they could not have ben more helpful.
Pool large great for swimming and so clean. Sun beds always available.
Rooms adequate . Air-con is extra 70 Lira per week , but very uncomfortable without it.
Adam the technical manager was outstanding working day and night to keep the pool treated late night and early morning and mending airconditioning units frequently plus sorting electrics and plumbing, What a star!
Ali the manager ran a tight ship and was kind helpful and managed to introduce us to the real Turkey also playing his traditional string instrument and singing traditional songs with the help of the staff group, on the second Turkish night a friend was recruited to play the turkish violin also. The Turkish night was excellent with high quality folk dancers and belly dancer. The staff joined in dancing and singing Engin was a wow!
Entertainment was 2 nights a week and we saw a synchronised swimming group and an African dance and acrobatic troupe.
Only niggle all drinks were extra except at breakfast so the bar bills became expensive and notices about bringing in drinks were prominently displayed at the door. I think that one bottle of water should be provided with meals purchased per 2 or 4 people and/or coffee after a meal .Maybe air con for the first night when it is very hot?
The hotel is about a 5 min walk to the beach the sea bed is stony and I used sandals to swim in.
Hotel close to shops and beach but is tranquil and quiet with the faintest sound of the call to prayer when sitting by the pool to remind us that we were in Turkey.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so happy, Pauline, Jon, Adam, Alex, Gary and Wendy.

Lovely small hotel. Rooms clean but very basic. Beds could do with being changed. Staff are very helpful and the smallness of the hotel meant there were always sun beds available. Very close to restaurants close enough to nightlife if wanted but far enough away not to hear any of it at night. Minibus stops outside hotel to go to bodrum only cost £1 pet person for single journey to bodrum. Would stay here again if they give the rooms and beds some TLC.
