Just back from 2 weeks at the Small World (our 4th time there for main annual holiday - and we are ‘picky’). Despite Mehmet (owner) being away since May (on business), as always we had a very pleasant stay. Not really a hotel for children (no games facilities\space and main section of pool has no shallow end) plus rooms are relatively small. The point is that this is a hotel where from breakfast till bed-time you can relax outside (in the sun or in the shade) – so it’s really a ‘chill-out’ spot for adults but conveniently near resort facilities. Owner’s family and staff - especially Murat (barman) who is very versatile - are very helpful. Already planning to return in 2008.

we went to smallworld 18th september 06,it was the final part of my Husbands 40th birthday suprises.we arrived after midnight and there was murat waiting patiently.We were shown our room then went and had a few drinks at the bar.This hotel is superb -friendly staff,good food and great company.The rooms are clean and looked after throughout your stay.Bitez in general has changed so much,we were there in 98 and it was a small village, very turkish-but welcoming.Now however its very touristy - spoilt it really but still worth a visit if you havn't been.
Its our 10th wedding anniversary next year and i do think we will be going back to Bitez and if we dont stay at Smallworld we shall go and visit everyone there.

We stayed at the small world hotel for two weeks in may and was very happy with our choice. We were recommended by someone who had stayed here last year who had said what a friendly charming place it is. We felt straight at home here , the rooms were great with enough space for two people and the pool and surrounding area is very pretty. The breakfast , which is served 8am to 10am was fine and had your typical turkish breakfast with lovely fresh melon and cherries. There was always plenty of it and always fresh. We also ate lunch and dinner here a couple of times and once again you couldnt fault it.This is a family run hotel including the dog who was the cutest dog ever and this made it more personal, you felt like you were part of the family. Murat , who is the barman , waiter , reception etc etc was fantastic and always had time to talk to you . After our first week our friends were coming out but the flight was not due to land untill 1.30am, but murat was quite happy to sit up and wait for them , and when they did arrive he kept the bar open untill 4am!!
Bitez is a lovely resort and when you go there you will often hear people saying that they have visited more than once, like ourselves. This is our third time and wont be our last as we are going back in September!! Some good places to try are Salmakis Restaurant (who are our good friends), seaside
restaurant , first stop ,and new season.
Im counting down the weeks , 14 to go !!!

we stayed at this hotel august 2006 and from getting off the coach at 2.30am i knew this hotel was for us murat (barman, waiter) kept the bar open so we could have a drink and relax going to bed about 4am..breakfast is served from 8am to 10am and is a brilliant turkish buffet..the rooms are big enough for 2 adults with either twin beds ( as ours was ) or some rooms had a double bed. all rooms have air conditioning which in the brochure it says payable locally but when we went to pay we were told it was free and only paid for the safe.. the hotel only having 16 rooms means you get to know other guests. we went on 4 trips and 1 trip was booked through the rep and i can say never again will i book through them the best place to book is with SMT travel just next to the hotel (ask for kelvin or bora, they are really nice) no hassle travel with these people..the food at small world is marvellous we ate here every day and sometimes on a evening if we couldn;t be bothered to go out ( we and another couple took murat out 2 nights for a meal as there was only 4 of us left at the hotel and it felt like our own private place)...i can honestly say i am counting the days to go back again in august next year..and am missing everything about the place..
