This was our second stay in a Rixos Hotel, so I know what kind of a service we were looking for. Everything was perfect, staff was so kind. Also the best part is the nature and sea. We swam with my wife in October :). A must go for a Bodrum experience.

We have just returned from 2 weeks holiday at the Rixos Bodrum Hotel. The rooms are very basic for a 5* Hotel, dark and the wardrobes are tiny unless you get a deluxe room. The hotel was too spread out which was fine by us needing to do compulsary exercise after we ate a lot but others might find it excessive. The food is great with a good variety. The hotel is on the outskirts of Bodrum so unless you take a taxi which costs around £10 or the hotel's shuttle (6 Euros for return journey) the only other way of getting to Bodrum centre is the local minibuses which is rather difficult to get to because of how the hotel has been laid out.
The staff was good and helpful with one exception who happened to be the assistant front desk office manager. His attitude towards us was unacceptable. He had no intention of solving a mistake made on their behalf. In fact he claimed it was our fault. When finally the truth came to light instead of apologising and trying to make up for it the hotel asked us to keep it discreet. Far from professionalism and client handling skills.
The hotel's major clientele was from Russia who we found impolite and oblivious of other guests. So if you intend to have a relaxing holiday this is not the place to go!

We booked this hotel for our Honeymoon, i had read a few reviews before coming here which stated that people were not happy with the Hotel, Well I'm sorry to say this but they are WRONG. I have nothing Bad to say about this hotel. The complex is well designed, Large at first but after a few days you get used to it. There are 7 resturants here French(Sparx) Italian(Venix) Mexican, Turkish(Sini) Fish(onyx) Bbq,japanese and the Buffet. Apart from the Japanese all are free (japanese you pay 70eur for) but some friends who went there said it was excellent. The food is amazing loads of it and loads to choose from. The day activities were brilliant i played beach volleybal and Boule almost everyday also tried my hand at archery too!!

Our room was huge and right at the top Room 4726 a bit of a walk but it kept you fit. The views are amazing. When there was a disco yes it was loud and when you were there they were brilliant on one occasion we were getting up early to go on an excursion the disco was loud that night but , and i must stress this i called Guest relations to ask if they could turn it down and within 5 minutes it was turned down!! Brilliant customer service!

The staff were amazing the guys in particular were Emrah (he looks like ronaldo) Hakan (a Bollywood Star) Hashim ( the good looking Chap) And Gurkan (pirates of the Caribbean) these guys made our holiday. So if your going there find them they will make you enjoy yourself!!

Overall Rixos is briliant - Thomson on the otherhand are Rubbish we were mislead on our excursions and blatently ripped off - Dont get excursions with Thompson rubbish, The Dolphin trip, £51 pounds each to swim with a dolphin for 6 mins when were were there the daily mirror released an artical about the dolphin sanctuary that thompson sell, the dolphins are tortued there and kept in small pens. Dont loose money over this! The rep said to us that it was good value for money when we drove past it it looked like a rundown shack with 4 dolphins in a 10m by 20m pen and for £104 punds a complete ripp off, we got our money back and were told they would not be selling this excursion again, but they are

just returned from a week of glourious sunshine,accom and food...
gorgeous settings, lush gardens. attention to detail with regards to layout and scenery and design.very green so watch out for mosquitos, doctor very handy and good....
room spacious, views not that great from room, trees!!
balcony private and got sun. maid great, clean rooms, laundry great.
all bars fanastic service, no sooner was your drink finished and they were there asking if you wanted another.
Main buffet restraunt - abundance of food to suit all tastes and ages... good opening hours..
a'lcarte - no problem booking... French was the best,secluded and very Gordon Ramsey!!!
Beaches great and clean.
Entertainment team will keep your kids entertained morn till night.
White island party really fantastic attention to detail- fire works,dancing!
On island, 100euros to reserve a secret platform to yourself to sunbathe all day with waiter service...
Spa - lovely, cheaper treatments in town tho!
bus to town cheaper if you catch it a the top of the road rather than booked in hotel... 1.50euros or 2ytl, each way, takes you to main bus stop in bodrum and get one back thr... more frequent than htls buses... long walk to top of htl!!

had a fantastic, relaxing time...def go back!!!!
if noone enjoys this hotel, they must be mad....
