The previous reviewer said this hostel is near the clubs. Actually, it's right ON TOP of a club, so you will hear music pounding until 2 AM or so.
There was a major miscommunication when we arrived to try and find a room. There was no one around even though it was the middle of the day. Even though we hadn't spoken to anyone, one of the employees (he didn't speak English) acted as if we already had reservations and brought us to our room. We hadn't checked in or paid or anything.
After finally getting this sorted out, we were left with a tiny room on the top level with double bed, windows that didn't close, and a very basic shared bathroom. The shower had a serious drainage problem. The backdoor leading out to the shared bathroom was broken, so we felt very insecure leaving our bags, but had no choice.
The room was very stuffy at night and there was no fan or AC. The balcony contained some tables and chairs, peoples' laundry, and there were actually a few people sleeping out there in hammocks or on the ground at night. I guess this was cheaper than a dorm bed downstairs.
I never saw a single staff person the entire time I was here. Do not stay here if you want to sleep at night. Though most people come to Bodrum to party anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter.
The location is alright. It's not near the beach, but about a 10 minute walk.
