For our first week we stayed at CLUB VOUAGE in Torba which is a 10 minute taxi drive from our next hotel – HOTEL SAMARA. This resort delivers when it says 5star. The rooms were big, spacious and it was clean! You have a huge king size bed. A television that has some English channels, you have complimentary shampoo, conditioners ect. Our room 434 was located close to the Amphitheatre, which comes alive at night at around 9 pm. They have a middies disco till 10 pm. It was a bit noisy and it took time to get use to the music and to fall asleep. Room service quick, and efficient- by 11 am your room is cleaned and waiting for you. All staff very friendly at the Hotel and they try and interact with the hotel guests. The food was good. We felt that this resort was more for the up market people as CLUB VOUAGE was a much more relaxed, cool place. They did request that you be dressed when entering the buffet restaurant for lunch. Where as Club VOUAGE did not really matter. I would suggest that you go to BODRUM during summer , as we found that it was windy and rainy some days as they are heading into their winter. Resort very good, they have these HUGE bean bags that you have on the beach to lie on. Also staff friendly with getting you drinks and coffee. The kiddies club was not that great – it wasn’t clean and the toys were broken/ old. I strongly suggested to them they need to upgrade that department. Other than that it was a great holiday. The shopping is good to go to in BODRUM and the museum is also well worth it.

Butlins meets Hi de Hi at this 5 star hotel. The good points. The hotel location is very good with a nice private beach and pool. Dolmus (bus) to Bodrum every half hour. Plenty of sun beds. The hotel rooms are very nice, the standard sea view room (recommended) we had was spacious with good quality fittings and a good sized balcony. The in room safe supplied was not bolted to the wall, it was a loose fitting on the shelf! There was plenty of hot water at a good pressure. AC was OK but locked off so you could not go too low. Room key required to switch on all electrics could not be substituted with a spare credit card either! Hotel cleaning was excellent. The bad points. This is my first and possibly last experience with all inclusive. There is one main restaurant the serves school style canteen food, more or less the same every day. If you are meat and 2 vege man this is the place for you! On the positive side nothing I ate made me ill! The so called A la Carte is available in a roof top restaurant for 3 evening meals (3 meals for a one week stay and yes 3 meals for a 2 weeks stay!) You must book in advance. You get a choice of Turkish, Fish or Italian in the same place and what you are given is what you get. Don't think for a minute you are choosing from a menu! Very Poor. Now to the drinks. Included local alcoholic drinks includes Beer, Vodka, Brendi, Raki and wine. Imported drinks, ie a Baileys will cost you around £7! thats if they have any (I saw a bottle but it was empty and just for show) Of the 4 bars, if there was any other choice it was not displayed so you had no idea what the options were. Probably best as you would home go a lot poorer! The wine, white or pink was very poor. I understand you can buy better at £30 a time but did not want to take a chance. Now for the animation team, they are paid to entertain you and you WILL be entertained, and you WILL entertain everyone else as well. This was like Butlins holiday camp of the 1970s. If you want a quiet hotel this is not it. You are pestered relentlessly from 10AM to 10PM to play all sorts of silly games. And by the way don't think about loosing because you will be ridiculed publicly in front of all of the hotel guests. Music and the animation team blasts away on a PA system to make sure you don't miss a thing. Watch out for the Samara dance, everyone must join in with this. In the evenings the animation team put on DIY entertainment at a theatre, and yes you will be dragged down on stage to do your bit! One night a week there is a professional show, with dancers and a belly dancer - excellent.
I think you get the picture.

This is a delightful hotel located a short walk to the beach in Samara. The owners add some nice touches by decorating the rooms with fresh flowers. They are also very helpful in arranging any kind of activity and transportation. Everything is super clean, and the grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is included and is great. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. Highly recommended.
