“Perfect setting for family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

We spent 3 nights with a one year old and a five year old. We really enjoyed our stay. The apart is very nice, clean and well equipped. We had a baby cot.

The pool is great, breakfast is excellent, very nice staff. Nothing to complaint about this place.
Just a tip: rental car can be hired for cheaper elsewhere, but that's not about the hotel.

I just don't see what all the fuss is about. You get what you pay for. This was a really nice, clean and friendly hotel to stay in and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed every second of this holiday, We arrived fairly early around 05:00am and by then we were all so tired and went to sleep and were awoken by a cockerel but what harm is that? its all part of the experience!! The staff couldn't do enough for you! always there to help you, always chatting and always having a laugh with you! the pool was a great size and always kept clean and the pool area was always tidy, there was enough sun loungers for everyone staying in the hotel so there was no waking up early reserving them, added bonus! The rooms were really nice! bathroom was nice and clean always, clean towels everyday and clean bedding every 3 days, bins emptied everyday. i can highly reccomend 'the garden' bar and restaurant, eating your dinner overlooking the sea is just amazing! Food was great and service was to! not to high on prices, well worth it. Bodrum Dedeman Aquapark was really good fun it was 50 lira entry but it was an amazing day there wasnt a long wait to get onto things and you had to put money on a card and they would swipe it in the card if you wanted food or drink, witch was handy. the beach was really nice, every shop on the beach front you went in at the back you could see the beach witch was really nice and we went to burger king one day it was like eating it on a floating balcony it was so fun, we've been to turkey a lot of times and this was a brilliant holiday, 45 mins to 1 hour for the transfer from bodrum milas airport to the hotel. if i had to some this hotel/holiday up in one word it would be 'amazing' i WILL be returning

Room Tip: All rooms have good views

Really lovely stay. Rooms could do with a bit of TLC but this wasn't too much of an issue as we were on a sight seeing visit so spent little time inside. What this place lacks in 'mod-cons' is certainly made up for by the friendly, helpful staff and the lovely pool and restaurant area. Location appears to be out on a limb at first but is no more than 15 mins walk to Bodrum Castle, 10 mins to some great seafood restaurants, and 5 mins to the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner good and rich. Room clean, pleasant with comfortable sofa. Closer to the Marina - 5-10 min walk. Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

Hotel has very nice villa that was great for us 4 people travelling together. Villas both floors has their own bathrooms with showers. 2 bedrooms in upstairs and still spare room for kids, etc. Big tv, comfy sofa and kitchen in downstairs. And the best: own terrace with view to pool where bar staff is happy to bring you drinks and snacks. We had lot of laughs with guys there. Best quality of living that we ever experienced in Turkey before.

All staff very helpful and did their best to make our holiday perfect. They took good care of our luggage while we where 24h away on a cruise. Price is not the cheapest, but hey, this villa will easily take 6 travellers! Worth every cent.

We stayed 4 days in villa, no idea how the regular rooms are. Next time in Bodrum no need to think where we gonna go, this is the place.

We have stayed here thre times now for the following reasons: Location, Price and Facilities available. It is NOT luxury...but, for a base to use it is ideal. It has a clean swimming pool, the bar has a large variety to offer and is open until very late and the food is not too bad if you chose to eat here (although we did not, apart from the odd snack and breakfast which was acceptable). One word of warning is that YOU dictate the location of your room...ask for pool facing and first floor and get that in writing from your operator OR the hotel if booking direct through their website. Location could not be better as you are 5 minutes walkaway from the harbour, there is a little grocery shop dead opposite that is well stocked and the bus station is, again, only a short walk away and you can hop on a dolmus to anywhere you want to go. We never had a problem we could not overcome by asking, politely, for staff to rectify...which they did. The Moonshine is as you would expect a no frills apartment to be..if you want the lap of luxury then go elsewhere but we choose this one as it is a base for us and the low price means that we can beter spend our money elsewhere.

Room Tip: 1st or second floor and pool facing

Arrived at 5am where we were escorted to a tiny, insecure, mould infested basement room. We requested a family room and a balcony with a view of the pool area. What we got instead was a view of the wall behind the pool and one room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed located in the living room/kitchen. This was ridiculous as the living room was tiny to begin with. Also because it was a basement apt. there was not much light so we needed to keep the lights on all the time. It really was a depressing room to stay in, like a prison cell. Had no use for the kitchen as there was no kettle, cups, pots or cooker. But what was most disturbing was the fact that the front door did not lock properly and even when we did eventually get it locked, it could be EASILY opened by forcing the handle a few times. Every night we had to put the kitchen table against the door just so we could sleep with a little bit of comfort. Also the hotel was located in a very residential area which meant there was no tourist info at reception.
So disappointed with room as we paid so much for it and ended up in a cellar type, twin room. Comments on trip advisor were very misleading, our final booking was based on this advise. Listen, I do not expect luxury and i am not in any way fussy but not having a big enough room for 3 adults or a functioning kitchen OR even a locked door was disturbing to me. Also room was very unclean and housekeeping was very poor, mind you when your front door doesn't lock, cleanliness is the least of your worries!!
