We booked a holiday on the internet through on the beach holidays. We chose the delfi and looked it up on trip advisor, looked o.k. When we arrived at 3.30 in the morning the dishevelled night porter who could just about communicate with us showed our daughter and other daughter and her boyfriend to two outside sheds which could only be described as 1950's butlins rejects, these were "studios" one which still had the gas turned on and the other which was thick with mould from the shower room ceiling. He then showed us and our two boys aged 12 and 10 to a room with a double and single bed in, when we asked where the other bed was after much time he went off and produced a camp bed covered in cob webs, then got the cleaner out of bed to make the bed up for us. He assured us that we would be moved in the morning. There was no room to even walk around the beds or put the cases so unpacking was out of the question. The next morning we were told at reception that the hotel was full and it was a mistake the "english end", they could give us a family room 5 days into our holiday. They did move our daughters into the hotel but that was only because they then offered the two adjoining shacks to us !!! Not realising that we were all from the same party because we had made seperate bookings.
On the fifth day we were moved but not at 12 as they said, at 7.30pm because they were still waiting for the sheets to dry from the previous occupants !!!
The spa there was nice, we had a turkish bath which was wonderful, also a massage.
The barmen could not add up and we were frequently chased around the pool being asked for extra money for our round of drinks due to their errors.
My partner saved a big turkish lad from drowning in the pool one day whilst the staff just stood there. The pool was very deep and dangerous. When the locals asked where we were staying they laughed at us.
Would be recommend or go back to the delfi .........NO WAY !!!
