The good:
Wonderful view of the city from atop a hill. Good facilities, meaning two swimming pools, gym, squash and tennis court, etc. Clean rooms, but not 5 star standard. More like a bad 4 star.
The bad:
The business model is as follows: build a hotel that has no amenities close by, and squeeze every euro out of your captive customers. This verges on the ridiculous. Mars bar from the fridge - 6 euro. Can of coke - 5 euro. Beer (about a pint or 500ml) from the bar - 10 euro.
At least these costs are transparently displayed. For other things surprises await. Think twice about having that orange juice they offer you at breakfast, it is 6 euro. The staff pour it like there is no tomorrow and is the first thing you are offered. Want a boiled egg? The first one is free, but two boiled eggs in a glass (whatever that means) is 5 euro.
The ugly:
The staff are poorly trained so make sure you have the ''do not disturb'' sign outside your door at all times, unless you want constant knocks and barging in of the staff.
Summary:
I give it a rating of 2/5 only because of the bad price-to-value ratio, and I got a very good rate for the room too!
