I always think that when you are abroad, your best bet is not to eat in the touristic restaurants, even though they often have the best location, but to look out for those little out of the way places where you see all the locals eating. This is definately the case with Antik Akdeniz restaurant. Although not the best visual location, it is so central in Bodrum, right next to the bus station. I have eaten here several times, and the food is always excellent. Traditional Turkish food, freshly prepared every day. The Pide, (Turkish Pizza) is out of this world and the Mussaka is a must try. And to cap it all off, reasonable prices and a really friendly English speaking staff. Highly recommened.
