“Overpriced!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Ate seabass here. No diffirent than other restaurants on the front. Save yourself money and find a backstreet restaurant - cheaper and better!

“Best fish”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

Every time we go to Bodrum we eat at this restaurant. We do not check out others so I cannot compare it to any other place.
Highly recommended.

“What You See is Definately Not What You Get”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

This restaurant promotes itself as being the oldest in Bodrum Town however, from our experience, how it has managed to survive so long is a mystery. Initially, we were enticed in by the impressive display of fresh fish and seafood in the street-side cooller, and the sales patter that suggested we could choose our meal from this very display so, suitably convinced, we took a table and ordered a drink. Everything went downhill from then - the plates were filthy, the bread stale, the waiter very rude and no opportunity to choose our own crevettes or sea bass from the display. What eventually arrived from the mediocre menu was some very overcooked calamari and a canned shrimp salad (well, canned shrimp with lettuce anyway). Don't get sucked in like we did - avoid this restaurant at all costs, it is very poor indeed.

“Nice spot for dinner”

Good fish and friendly staff. Was recommended by our skipper who is a local. Good location. Try the stuffed fried zucchini flowers!

“Dreadful restaurant, rip off”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

I am something of an expert in Turkish cuisine, and fish in particular. Our experience at Korfez last week was very bad. The lakerda (salted tuna) was a putrid mushy brown indelible abomination. The samphire was overcooked to the extent it was brown, and with so much garlic there was no taste of the sea at all. The octopus was also brown and stale. We passed on the fish, a fresh looking Lagos (grouper) but at Tl 200 per kg it is twice the price of the same fish in Cesme or Izmir. We should have known better, but what a shame for the tourists who will pay a fortune for such a poor representation of AEgean cuisine which is one of the best in the world.
