The Buyuk is a mere 10 minutes by taxi (and 15 TL or €9) from the airport, pretty much in the middle of nowhere.
First the good points: lots of parking and spacious rooms with small balconies.
On the other hand: No air conditioning (in all the rooms, not just mine) in late June/early July. 90 minutes to get a club sandwich on room service; then the tray sat outside my door for 26 hours. Laundry found after 8 days still untouched behind reception. 20TL (€12) for 4 black coffees at 06.30 as breakfast wasn't yet open.
When the hotel is busy there is a buffet for lunch and dinner which was pretty good with lots of fresh salads. The a la carte on other evenings was an overpriced disaster.
I will try somewhere else next time.
