I was pleasantly surprised with my dining experience at the Masala Cafe. We sampled a few dishes and the bill was not exorbitant. Everything arrived in good time, it all tasted as it should have done and we enjoyed it all in very comfortable and beautifully decorated surroundings. I was pleased to see old favourites such as lassis, masala tea and even kheer. Although the menu was slightly smaller than most Indian restaurants, all of the classic dishes were present e.g, butter chicken, chicken tikka, sheesh kebab etc. The only thing I missed was lamb biryani, which I haven't found anywhere else in Ankara. To sum up, the food tasted great, the owner, a Pakistani, was very interested in our dining experience and seemed to take pride in his business and it all made for a lovely dining experience - I concur with Paula W, the 'best Indian food in Ankara'.
