Located in Robinsons Magnolia, this restaurant serves good quality Chinese and Singaporean food. It is clean and well-lighted, with attentive hostesses, although the waiters/food service itself is on the slow side.
Their Singapore Laksa is supposedly good for one person, but can be split by 2 or even 3 people if you're also having other items on their menu. It is rather good with just the right amount of spiciness for my tastes.
The Peking Duck they served us was on the dry side, and the pancakes were thick and heavily drizzled with flour. Serving time was also slow for this dish, since they had only one waiter preparing the duck for us. I've had better in many other restaurant in Manila.
Their dimsum items are fresh and good. Notably, the Garlic Shrimp Spring Roll was perfect.
Their scallops with egg whites were okay, a bit on the greasy side. Their sweet and sour pork was standard. I would highly recommend their Fried Rice in Fujian Style.
The crowning achievement of this restaurant, though, is its boneless Hainanese chicken. Easily the best in the country, and I've tried most. It's moist and delicious, and their Hainanese rice is done correctly, as well.
It's moderately priced, but is worth the visit, especially if you order correctly.
