“hmmm delicious”

suman with chocolate..is the best, ask them not to include the sugar. they usually serve it with sugar already and that's too sweet for me. their filipino food are good too.

“Perfect for Drinks or Late Supper”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

This historical place burnt down a few years ago, but was fully restored and enjoys being patronized by people of all walks of life. Nestled in the heart of Malate you may sit outside sipping your drink and watching the crowds passing by or have a full meal inside. The food is good and unpretentious.

“A safe place to eat - salad!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014

This is a café with some history and ambiance. Very nice and good location. Staff is well trained ( and no doubt under-rewarded - tip!!)
I like the Salad Premiere - excellent for lunch. Full of locals

“Good food excellent ambience lousy coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2014

This is my fifth visit to this beautifully decorated reastaurant located in a once delightful but now, unhappily, fully koreanised end of adriatico street in Malate. The ambience is delightful the service is attentive and helpful and the food very good. I had one of the best steaks I have ever had and one of the finest desserts. It was a pity that the meal was let down by a soupy liquid pretending to be a cappuccino but tasting like a hot nutmeg drink. Otherwise it was hard to fault the service, food quality and atmosphere and I would strongly recommend at least one visit to this iconic cafe.

“Great food, great atmosphere (I love this place)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

This is a restaurant with history and great ambience. It is located in Remedios Circle, Malate. The area has seen better days but this place is very special. It is a great place to have a leisurely meal and soak in the atmosphere. I have eaten on both the first floor and the second floor on different trips. I love their mango salad. The desserts and coffee are first rate. The interior décor is special. A long time back before the establishment became a restaurant this location was an antique store. Some of the old furniture and art work are still there. There are creaky wooden floors and a narrow stair case that takes you to the second floor. Both floors offer windows overlooking Remedios Circle. There is always a good deal of activity to observe while you are eating your food or drinking your coffee.
