Owner description: When the Franciscans' mother church in Intramuros was destroyed in the closing days of World War II, they built their new Santuario (sanctuary) de San Antonio and installed a statue of Saint Anthony that had survived the bombing of their old beloved church. Many of Manila's wealthy families reside in nearby Forbes Park and Dasmarinas Village, so this church is where most of their christenings, weddings and funerals take place.

“Popular for Weddings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Almost all my visits to this Church are for weddings. I think brides like the long walk to the altar.

The place has centralized air-conditioning and thus comfortable, especially if one is dressed up formally.

Parking though is limited thus, we usually go early to get a spot at the commercial area across.

“God is present at the Santuario de San Antonio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2011

The church is very large and air condition at most Saturday afternoon and all Sunday Masses. The sound system is great enabling the congregation to clearly hear God's word. I love hearing Mass at the Santuario! Amen.
