“a short trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

I love my day tour even though we almost reach there near lunch time. Had all the amenities visited. Originally, it was suppose to be an overnight stay but because of my brother's class tomorrow it was just a day tour. I wanted to wake up beside the river and feel the fresh breeze of air and a lot of green and tall trees. Hope to wake up in villa escudero soon. I wishthey have extra services like wheelchair for the elderly.

“very poor maintenance, old (needs renovation and innovation), man power upgrade”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

the place is still the same when i visited last 2006. it even got worse because it's old and dirty. it's crying out for renovation. Boring. It must have an impact saying It's fun in the Philippines after all. A guest would definitely have an unhappy impression, it's no longer worth it, the food is bad. Service is bad and the place is definitely not an unforgettable place where a guest would say i'd love to visit there again.

“Nice place outside crowded Manila...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

I went with other students (organized by the school). Transport was already arranged by the school (might be a challenge for you if can't arrange it). The entrance I heard is P1,400 (about $35)
The lunch with Filippino food was very good.
Lots of fun things to do:
Welcome drinks
Carabao cart rides
Buffet lunch @ Lake Labasin water falls
Visit to museum
Bamboo rafting (morning only)
Cultural show (afternoon show)
Use of recreational and sport facilities
Bird watching
Nice place to relax...

“What Waterfalls?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

So what is exciting about taking a photos on supposed to be small dam? That waterfalls is nothing but slimy and slippery backdrop while soaking your feet having lunch of otherwise extremely Filipino cuisine.Another establishment that is really for local appreciation.I really don't understand why resorts/hotel around The Philippines serves food that only locals willing to chew.

“Nice natural environtment, but too expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Its quite nice place, with natural river view. The pictures at internet might be fooled you, its just a man made waterfall, the food is below of average. Not much activities can be done there.
Carabao rides, museum, bamboo rafting and very standart buffet lunch under the small manmade waterfall for 1400 pesos entrance fee, exclude the transport fee from manila. Fyi, its 2-3hrs rides from Manila to San pablo.

Lunch is serves at 11 - 2 PM
