If you want to see how old manila looks like better drop by in Intramuros Manila. Some of the house or buildings are built during the Spanish era. I recommend exploring the area thru a quick walk if you're with a group but If you're all alone better hire a Kalesa (carriage being driven by horse) to explore the area because that option is safer. 2 of the most known Churches with a great architecture can be found inside Intramuros namely - San Agustin Church and Manila Cathedral. Don't forget to drop by in Fort Santiago and the famous cobalt stone road if you're in the area. There's a lot of eateries within Intramuros, I always stop for a quick bite in one of my favorite eatery and the famous food stop of the students of nearby school - "Manang's Chicken" just infront of Mapua Institute of Technology/ MapuaTech
