Checked in at around 10 pm on this hotel and not only was it so hard to find (it was right in the midst of a downtown Manila residential plus an ongoing construction in the nearby LRT station), no one was there to even tell us where to park etc. No one was there except the guard standing by the tiny lobby, the front desk was closed, I repeat, a front desk that is closed, nada, zilch, zero service. We only then learned that the person we are speaking to over the phone for reservation is not even there, Gosh knows who the hell is that person. Entering in, we saw scattered pieces of wood and iron clad and at least 2 empty rooms suggesting the place was under repair. You could only feel the vibe of an old movie where the hostage gets killed, like what the fudge is this place. On our room, the phone doesn't have a dial tone, yup, a hotel without a working phone. And since we are as sure as hell that there was nobody to contact on the lobby, we called back again using the numbers we got over the web to ask what the heck is going, and that lady calmly said "yes sir, di po talaga gumagana yan". Asked if why they don't have tissues and toothpaste, the most basic of even the poorest accommodations anyone can have, she replied "limited lang po amenities nyo kase metrodeal lang po kayo", I was like I had worse places like this and they have rolls of tissues what the hell are you talking about? Please, please for the sake of your safety and convenience, don't even think of going to this place. If you think I'm only making this up to destroy their brand, then by all means go there. And oh, their breakfast does not even deserve to be fed to dogs, if you have the slightest love for your dog.
Just go a to nearby red/black hostel, those places have at least 8 levels of decency over the place...
