“Weddings Galore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2014 NEW

This is a good place for tourists to witness a Filipino wedding because of the number of weddings that are held here. Weddings are almost always held every hour on the hour on weekends. A Filipino wedding march can be a sight to behold because of the usually large entourage involved.

In addition there is much history to the church and there is museum next door.

“Praise God for preserving this church”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2014 NEW

Gorgeous and magnificent once inside the church. One of the oldest in the Philippines. Lots to appreciate and see and reflect. Wooden doors carvings are very special. Very peaceful. Only watch out is parking lot unofficial attendant looking for tips.

“For the people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014

Very impressive building, with a door that catches your eye..very old..one of the few survivors of the WWII.if you like historical churhces and buildings then you will enjoy as part of the greater Intramuros area. Impresive bamboo pipes on the organ..there was a service taking place when we were there so many people..overall worth the visit.

“One of the most beautiful churches I've ever visited”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2014

This famous spot is justly beloved by tourists and locals alike. It's steeped in the history of the Catholic Church in the Philippines, and a recent grant by the Spanish government to help restore it has been put to good use. The church is huge -- the older rooms are full of character and ambience. The relics and other artwork on display are very interesting, and the entire church can be visited in about two hours or so. A must-see when in Manila.
