“Watching the weddings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012 via mobile

We got to the church in the late afternoon and two weddings were take place! We watched the bride walk down the looooong aisle, people singing, throwing red petals. It was fun! We didn't get to go in because of the weddings, but looked nice from outside.

“Not as old as it looks, but still, beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Most people think San Augustin church is old, but it is hardly 75 years old. The church has been rebuilt a lot of times, as it got destroyed due to earth quakes and fires. Still, it is a beautiful place, and on Sundays, has a cheery ambience due to weddings that routinely occur. We sat for mass, just gazing at the ceiling (don't miss it - it has a 3D feel - but is actually paintings that lend it this illusion). I have added some interesting photos and trivia on my blog - http://expattraveller.blogspot.com/

“Historical Place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

A great place to attend mass and appreciate the baroque style of architechture. Take note of the doors, the ceiling that demonstrates a visual trick. Look at the altars and check out the rooms that has different themes.

“The Oldest San Agustin Church"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This church is located in General Luna Street of Manila inside the historic walled city of Intramuros. This church is originally known as "Inglesia De San Pablo" and founded in 1571 as the oldest stone church (built in 1589) in Philippines. San Agustin Church also is a Roman Catholic church under the auspices of The Order of St. Augustine.

I fall in love with the architecture and the landscape of this oldest church. It's so beautiful here. This church is also the most place to visit in Manila. You won't regret it, trust me...
