“It really improved a lot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

A very nice place to spend your time with your family and friends. You can do whatever you want, haha. Rizal shrine, the big Philippine replica, dancing fountains, Chinese gardsen, play ground, etc. In the past, Rizal park is dead but as they improved rhe place, it became one of the top spots you must visit in Manila. A good place to relax and to walk with your loved ones.=)

“a lot of improvement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

i've been passing Rizal Park everyday for 4 years now as this is my way to my workplace. Ive seen a lot of improvement of the place. It's greener and clean. There's a lot of people and vendor within the place. A lot of students are practicing and rehearsing some dance routines. Nothing much there. But if you find some cool place to read or to just walk around and capture every happy moment you've seen..then i think this is the place in metro manila. just keep an eye on your things. never leave them unattended.

“Good”

I enjoyed the peaceful Chinese Garden. If the Rizal sound and light show is not on see if the attendant will let you slip in to see the dioramas of Rizal's last moments used in the show.

“Rizal park worth stopping to take a quick look”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Rizal park is iconic to Philipinos a place where their local hero Rizal is commemorated and there is a Statue guarded by military personnel.
Ther is a special memorial area which you need to pay to enter even though you can see all of it from outside.
The park is not particularly spectacular but very popular with local playing and picnicking and is pleasent to wander around
At the far end there is a relief map of the islands surrounded by water. Most of the location signs have gone or fallen over so it is difficult to work out the major sites.

Across the road on the sea side there is a fun fair which is worth a stroll around although some of the rides may not pass all modern expectations.

Some vendors selling food and souvenirs so you can pick up a few items before moving on. It can be busy at weekends so be prepared for the crowds.

“FACELIFTED”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Last Christmas there are lot of improvements for the park. the light and fountain show which i think is the main attraction of the park is amazing. it gives life to the park and for those who did not visit the park yet its a must see even if the christmas season is over.
as of todate there are newly built toilets in the park which is a very important improvement..if the management can still build more seats and benches a lot better. I hope they will plant more trees so that the park will be greener and cooler during the day.. and if it is possible to put fishes on the map it would be nicer if it is possible.
