“A great green oasis in the middle of chaotic Manila”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Rizal park is a great place to escape the heat and humidity of Manila. Lots of small attractions (also quite a large statue of Lapu Lapu, the Filipino symbol od anticolonialism) and an ideal place for people watching or mingling with the locals.

“A scenic spot of high respect by world leaders”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Rizal Park is a well known Park not only visited by tourists but also by world leaders who officially visited Manila, Philippines. It is to incorporate as a sign of friendship and high respect and dignity with the people of Philippines. With no exception, my wife and I, also visited this Park which is included in our itinerary of Tour.
The 60-acre Park, also known as Luneta Park, is a historical urban park located in the heart of the city of Manila, Philippines, adjacent to the old walled city of Manila. This Park is clean and well maintained. If you put up your stay in Kimberly Hotel, then it is within the walking distance via Robinsons Shopping Mall.
In this huge park, thousands of people thronged the place whether social, business, family gatherings or dating activities, you will see many carts/carriage drawn by horses, joy-ride trains, dancing fountains, lakes, restaurants, and professional Singers and photographers ready to serve you.
In front of the Park, the Ocean Park is right there for you to continue for your next visit.

“COUNTRY'S NATIONAL PARK...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

The largest park in the city or probably the whole country and its south end is the Manila Bay...One hundred and sixteen years ago, Jose Rizal-who became the national hero-executed here to where his monument was erected through these days...The city has a shortage of park so it became a favorite meeting place for local lovers all together...It is also a popular place for political or religious rallies...It is safer to visit this place during daytime...
