Newly opened after more than two years of renovation, retrofitting, and subsidence prevention, the Manila Cathedral looks sacredly beautiful as ever. The see of the Archbishop of Manila, it is called the 'mother of all churches in the Philippines'. Full of historical accounts since it was a parish church governed under Mexico in 1571 until became a cathedral that undergone several reconstruction until 1958, many changes had be been made both for purposes of reinforcement and beautification. Aside from newly installed bells, added features include new LED lightings, wide screen TV, improved audio-visual systems, and installation of CCTV cameras.
