“Among the best preserved museums”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

You can easily spend 3 ours here. Located in the plaza san luis complex of 8 heritage buildings, Casa Manila has a museum, 3 restaurants, souvenir shops and beautiful old time structures. A shrub growing out of the grey stone walls, a fountain inside the building, and a lot of artifacts that trace the history of this spot from where most of Philippines was ruled, is a good reason to visit Casa Manila.

“Better if you go with a good guide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

A very nice restoration of an Intramuros family home but I have to say its is a lot different from just going there on a field trip during my school days and going with a really good guide who has done the research and can really tell a good story. I have to suggest that you go here with Carlos Celdran, you can look him up on the internet, even if you have been there a hundred times nothing compares to what he offers.

“"Another Beautiful Museum"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This beautiful museum is located inside Intramuros. Casa Manila is one of the beautiful building in the Spanish colonial era. This place is the major tourist attractions in Manila, Philippines. The Casa Manila is rebuilt by the former first lady Imelda Marcos during the 1980's to help Filipinos appreciate their heritage and help the tourist to understand the history of the Spanish era itself.

When you enter this museum, the guard will informed you that you absolutely CAN NOT any picture in this museum. So put you camera inside your bag and lets yourself enjoy the beauty of the architecture and the story of The Casa Manila.
